The sound of sharp claws began to grate in a loud shriek against the revolting wood. Nenetl's dark eyes were wild in anger. Baka! Idiot! Stupidity of her stupid a** family! She was wrong to ever put any hope in her father. The way he worked his 'magic' to twist his words. After everything he did to her mother... and now everything he was doing to Kamaria. He was a jackass. She hated men. She truly and deeply hated them.
She pulled her claws free of the tree, wood splintering under the pressure until the sharp objects were finally free. Her head drooped toward the ground as her sides gave in to a huge heave. This was it.. she had no more reason to trust him, nor to want anything to do with her family. Maybe in time she'd find her mother, the only one who had ever cared for her, but for now she was content in never seeing them again. She wouldn't go back, not until she had a family of her own.

Having once again popped one of her eyes out of her sockets, Crypta batted it around lazily. She hadn't many friends on the isle and the one she did have, she missed terribly. Something about that lioness made the undead feel alive... however silly that did sound.
Her ears suddenly pricked to the sound of ripping bark and she turned her head, spotting Nenetl having finished showing a tree whose boss and now flopped to the ground. Smiling, she licked up her eye, chugged it down her throat and blinked a few times as it popped back into her socket before padding over delicately...so as to not lose a paw.... or two.... or even four.

Nenetl's back was turned, her head still lowered. She sat in this position for a long moment until her ears twitched, her first instinct was to tear her claws into whatever was approaching, but as she turned her eyes flashed when she saw it was Crypta and immediately she lowered her talons, sinking them into the ground instead. She said nothing but her eyes softened and the first action she did was to raise her head and nuzzle Crypta affectionately against the cheek, letting her know how happy she was to see her. And she was indeed very happy to see her, the lioness whom had captured her cold... nearly dead heart.

Still slightly shocked at the nuzzling, Crypta blushed, though returned the affections. This strange lioness still fascinated her and she found herself wanting to be around her more and more. "Ahh deary, I had wondered if I would see you again!" she smiled, her bony muzzle managing to actually glitter in the sunlight. Being quite the air headed thing she was, she had failed to catch the hint of anger and stress coming of Nenetl just moments before, and so where she might have asked what was wrong.... she didn't. Instead she sat there smiling, almost rather stupidly as she was quite happy herself.

Nenetl's eyes softened slightly, moving closer to look at Crypta, almost saying Of course you would.... "I'ddddd... rattthhherrrrr.... die a thousssaaand deeeeattthhsssss than to never seeeee you againnn.." Her lips turned to a small smile, drawing a single claw gently through Crypta's hair. She tried her best to let the anger she felt slowly fade away. With Crypta here she did a better job of hiding it, but Nenetl knew it hadn't completely faded....
