Most students agree that lunch time is the best period of the day.
The cafeteria here is way bigger and more... decorated than those of normal schools. It could probably be referred to as a "dining hall" if someone took time to throw some table clothes on the tables and clean up the floors.
The food's not that bad either!

 Amaya sat at a table near the far corner of the cafeteria, her head laying on the table bored as heck.
She came there to eat, but then decided not to at the last minute.
She wasn't as hungry as she thought she was.
Her ribbon was gray, showing her mood, and her brown hair draped over her blank face.

((continued from "Profiles: Kohaku Shinobu, the starving technician!")) Haku walks over an empty table with a big grin across his face. 'hehehe, time to eat!' He sits down and places the plate in front of him. 'I think you've hit the jackpot here Haku,' he thought to himself as his mouth began to water. 'I can come here everyday and never starve again!' He grabs his chopsticks and gets ready to dive in face first in to the meal. "Itadakimasu!!" As he was about to chow down and taste the food of the gods, he notices Amaya sitting alone on the table infront of him. 'Huh.. isn't she going to eat,' he thought to himself as he watched the girls blank expression, she seemed to be lost in her thoughts. "I'm afraid... of my past."

Amaya noticed a familiar set of eyes looking at her, and recognized him. 'It's Haku. He sure does love the eat. All that food...nice food.' She shook her head, hair flying everywhere, to erase the thoughts.As if out of nowhere, her stomach began to growl. 'Darn it. Why am I hungry all of a sudden?' She sat up and stretched. Unfortunately, she stretched too far and fell back of her seat.

Haku watches as the girl looks at him. 'Hey.. It's Amaya. I wonder what she's doing here alone.' He continues to watch her as she stands up and stretches. He notice her slowly stretch back and fall backwards off of her seat. 'Ouch!' Haku stands up leaving his food and runs to Amaya. "Hey! Are you okay Amaya?" Haku looks down at her and reaches out his hand to help her up. "I'm afraid... of my past."

She gasped out a burst of air as she hit the floor. "Owwie..that hurted." She looked up at Haku as he said her name. "Yea, I'm fine. I just hit my head, but that's it." She reached for his offered hand and stood, straighting her hair and clothes. "Thanks, Haku," she said as she grinned.

Haku blushes a bit and makes an awkward laugh. "Don't mention it! Kyahaha!" He starts to calm down and looks at Amaya. 'Amaya.. I heard that her parents abandoned her and she became an orphan. In a way.. she's just like me.' Haku tries to think of something else. "So Amaya! How are you liking Shibusen?" "I'm afraid... of my past."

She smiled at his laugh, and ran a hand through her hair. "This place is great! Even though I don't really no anyone, and I don't have a Miester yet....but still it's cool."

Haku looks at Amaya surprisingly. " You don't have a Miester yet?" Haku pauses and thinks to himself for a minute. ' So she doesn't have a Miester... and I don't have have a weapon... hmm...' After what seemed to be the longest minute of thinking he gives a loud snap with his fingers. " I got it! I can be your Miester!" Haku gives out a big grin and reaches out his hand to Amaya for a shake. " How about it?" "I'm afraid... of my past."

Amaya shook her head. "Nope, I don't have one yet." She tilted her head slightly as he seemed to be thinking intently. While waiting, she looked down at her feet. 'I know what he's gonna say next.' Amaya jumped at his fingers snapping and looked at his extended hand. "I would love to be your Weapon." She shook his hand and a warm smile spread across her face.

" Kyahahaha! Alriiight! I've got a weapon!!" Haku jumps around excitedly. He jumps on top of the table and points to the people who were eating. " Did yah hear that!! I've got a weapon! Soon I'll do some jobs that have high rewards!" Haku's mouth starts to water as he starts to daydream. ' Just think of all the food I'll buy with all that money! hehehe, I won't starve anymore!' Amaya stood in shock at her new partner, standing on the table. "What the...?" She quickly pulled him down by his shirt, and shook him. "What the crap are you doing? That's dangerous, standing on tables like that. You could get hurt."
