Mel_Darkflame neoistheone21 Wow well I can't wait for the album. I hope they don't do the rock/rap thing again though. That was just really bad. You can't mix two different genre's of music. Especially opposite ones. I mean in todays world either you like Hip hop/rap or Rock. So it's kind of weird for them to fuse. And the song wasn't that bad with the Rap effect. But it just ruined the song. So well I guess that means I've saving my money for something else now. Thanks for the info Merry Christmas to you all.
Linkin Park has ALWAYS been rap/rock. =Exactly, I can't wait for the new album, I'm gunna have to get some money before it comes out though, or I could wait a bit.

You know what people, the new album isn't coming out this year, but next year. Here is the info that I have on it so far:
- QWERTY might not be on the new CD
- The new album's tracks are currently being decided on at this very moment. Mike said that they are going to narrow all the new songs down to 30-50 now.
New info on QWERTY: It was written on the trip before the Summer Sonic Tour, so LP might not include it on the CD. That is why it is different.

It is true QWERTY will probably not be on the album because they wrote it ON THE WAY to Japan for the Summer Sonic. However that is not why it sounds different, but that is why the lyrics are horrible.
Mike told us in the LPU chat they have a very different sound then before and it is so unique he can't even describe it. However, it will still maintain the LP sound we know and love. They wrote QWERTY on the way to japan because they decided last minuet that they wanted to give a taste of their sound.
