Character Name: Juliet Archer
Nickname: Jason (around her classmates), Julie, Jules, she hates when people refer her to that godforsaken Shakespeare play...
Age: 18
Date of Birth: April 12th
Gender: Female (shockingly so)
Sexuality: Straight, although she has been called otherwise...
Race: Human

Appearance: Juliet stands at an average height of about 5'6". At least, for girl it's considered average. Because of her situation (see bio), however, she's often taking the brunt of short jokes from her classmates. She has a pretty slender build, but over the years has built up some muscle in her legs from playing soccer. That being said, most of her weight is muscle mass (not that she's a total meat head or anything) and she has developed a high metabolism. Which, in retrospect, is lucky for her because she's able to eat like the teenage boy everyone assumes her to be.
She has a short, choppy haircut that tends to stick out at odd angles if she leaves it alone. Juliet is a natural redhead with a pair of striking green eyes to match. She's also fairly tan from all those hours of practicing outside. Underneath her binding she does have a few curves, but she's not necessarily what other would consider "well-endowed".
Other than her school uniform (a light gray blazer with navy trim and black pants), Juliet is often found in anything comfortable and easy to move around in. This mostly consists of loose t-shirts or sweaters, a pair of jeans, and some sneakers. As she doesn't really "go out" on weekends, her wardrobe isn't the most extensive and you'll more than often find her in her uniform during the week. While she's not exactly "fashion-forward", she's not necessarily frumpy, either. Just comfortable.

Personality: Juliet is both flexible and incredibly determined. That being said, she's not one to start a fight, but she has a goal in mind and she's not afraid to do the things necessary to reach that goal. Her classmates would consider her 'bookish' as she doesn't really go out of her way to speak up in a conversation, but because she's on the school soccer team, she's not a total outcast. To those she's made friends with, she's an easy going person with a level headed, down to earth personality.
There are times when she unknowingly can go into 'Mother-Mode', as her brother once called it, when she more or less 'mothers' someone she cares about. She has been trying to get control of this habit over the years, as she can be a bit excessive (more often than not risking her safety to help someone do something menial). The term 'Mother' in this sense, is not to be taken literally, however. It merely means that she sometimes fusses a little too much.
Another way to look at it is that she simply has a protective older sister personality.

Character Flaws: One of Juliet's biggest flaws is that she does not rely on others. She tends to take everything on by herself no matter how large of a responsibility. This flaw is partially the reason she is where she is today. While she will somewhat trust a person's personality, she has a hard time completely trusting anyone outside of her younger brother.
She also tends to keep a lot of what she's feeling inside herself. Soccer is way of releasing frustration, but it can't get rid of everything. Seeing as how she won't completely open up to anyone, tension can tend to build up inside of her. She's only snapped a few times towards some of her classmates, but it was never anything to be completely concerned about. She tries to keep that sort of thing under wraps, though. As getting angry at an uninvolved party isn't helping anything.

Alignment: Neutral. Why pick a side when you have no idea what's going on?

History: Juliet started off like any normal little girl. Living a normal little girl life and living by normal little girl rules. Play with your dolls. Don't ruin your dress. Learn how to cook. Strive for the perfect essence of femininity and for the love of god, put down that soccer ball.
Blech.
Juliet's family was completely absorbed with the idea that boys played with their footballs while girls played house in their room. Yes, her parents were the epitome of sexism at its finest. Sure, most of the world looked at it as old fashioned thinking, but all Juliet saw were a bunch of nonsensical chains that she was determined to take off.
Her father, Nathan, was much more set on these ideals than her mother, Darlene. Not that the woman would say anything when her husband was in the room, however, as it wasn't a woman's place to dictate the rules of the household. Nathan ran both Juliet and her younger brother Jason's life with an iron fist until around the time Juliet was 14. She had discovered her passion for soccer and the strength she needed to leave her home.
Of her own volition, she applied for a scholarship and enrolled herself in a private school with one of the best soccer programs in the country, contacted a relative who lived nearby, and left. No heartfelt letter of goodbye, just an "I'm done" and she was gone.
The only thing she really felt sorry for was leaving her brother behind, as the two of them were very close. He was the only one who knew about her plan before she left home.
So, head held high, Juliet headed down a path she chose for herself. Feeling no regrets and focused on doing what she wanted for once in her life.
The only problem?
The school she had enrolled in was an all male academy.
All the better. The girl's soccer team at her old school sucked anyway. It was a pain to watch them compete (you didn't think her parents let her join when she was younger, did you?). So, without much thought about how this would turn out, Juliet bought some medical tape and became Jason.
When she was 16, she started applying for as many jobs as she was able to handle and saved every penny. Sometime around winter break she had landed herself a dinky little apartment (with her Aunt's signature, of course) and moved out once again. This time on much better terms.
Whatever she was doing, she must have been doing it well, because she had managed to get by for four years without being found out. She is currently at the end of her Senior Year, working two jobs, participating on the Varsity Soccer team, and for some reason not dead from exhaustion.
Everything seemed to be going smoothly until...
Hm.
How did she get here...?

Weapons: None. Unless you consider a book bag a weapon of mass destruction.

Items: Just her brown book bag, containing a couple of notebooks, a pair of soccer cleats, and wooden spoon that she put into her bag without thinking before heading off to class.

Abilities: Juliet for some reason has developed a supersonic sense of hearing that she is unable to turn off. In time she will be able to tune out unneeded noises. As of right now if a noise is too sharp or too loud, it has the potential to make her ears bleed. Her abilities focus on sound in general, and later on she will be able to mimic sounds/voices that she's heard. Her only form of offense is a type of "sonic scream/wail", that can knock someone back if they are close enough. It cannot break walls or doors down, but it has the potential to break glass (only IF she has heard a sound that high pitched) and ear drums. c:

Skills: Soccer is Juliet's main forte. She's good at it and she's got a mean kick. Other than sports, she's a pretty decent cook and learned to play the ukulele once. She doesn't remember when or how, but her fingers know what to do when the instrument is in her hand.
She's also a pretty good singer, but she only does so in the shower. She doesn't like singing in front of others. It's awkward.

Danger Level: Blue: While her powers don't seem like that much of a threat (more so to herself, if anything), her wail could be potentially very harmful internally.
