Living as a man?.......  Amp smirked at Naoko-chan's request. "You~ got~ it~."He eyed Val with a side glance. So she had an ace did she? SO far all Amp had seen was portal-portal-portal. Hardly impressive, ever since he'd met Val it had become incredibly overused and a rather simple trick. Well, his tattoo could always protect Amp from any attacks redirected at him, but then where did that leave him? Dispelling all his own attacks? Plus, he didn't want to turn into a one-trick pony too. But maybe.... No. No maybe. It would work. Shouldn't be too hard. Not hard at all. Amp would just need the perfect opening. Amp pulled his gitaur back in front of him and played a series of notes strung together so hypnotically, it was absolute beauty. Eletricity shot out at Val, fast as lightning and zipped around to come at her from all angles. Ampere Fight Theme......I'd rather die~.

-----Always faithful, always ready-----  Eager to get to Shibusen as soon as possible and find out what was actually going on, instead of the usual, Anastasij picked a different route leading to his and Adelheid's apartment. Running through the maze of Death City's alleys, he was careful not to agitate his partner even further, by making any too sudden movements.
As he was holding her in his arms, Anastasij could feel Adelheid slowly calming down, her muscles relaxing and her head quietly resting on his chest. He tightened his grip and held her even closer - the shivers he had been feeling down his spine were growing more intense and every cell in his being was screaming in alarm.
He kept running straight for their apartment, but suddenly something in the air caught his attention. He stopped and stood in place for a while, closing his eyes, sniffing the air and listening intently. What alarmed him seemed to be somewhere along the route he intended to take.
He had to choose whether to take the longer path and make sure to stay out of the possible opponents' way or stay on course and see what made his senses tingle. Looking at Heidi, he thought about the two options. What should I do? Heidi seems calm now, but she was under severe shock only a little while ago - if something were to happen, I don't know if she'd be capable of fighting. On the other hand, I can't just ignore this feeling - the things happening in this alley might have something to do with our sex-change. Squeezing her tightly he whispered: "I'm sorry," and continued to follow the path he originally planned to.
As he was getting closer and closer to what seemed to be a battlefield, judging by the smell of blood and sweat, his breathing became deeper and more silent. Approaching the scene with extreme caution, he managed to sneak a peek. Though trying to hide their presence as good as he could, he couldn't say whether the possible enemy wasn't already aware of their whereabouts. Now certain something was going on, he stepped a few steps back and whispered to his partner: "Oy, Heidi, can you hear me? How do you feel? Can you stand up?"
His skin was tingling with excitement, knowing a possible fight was only a few feet away, however, he had no intention of putting his partner in danger. Their next move would be determined by the girl's response.

Despite the fact that his - errrr, no, her - senses were much less sensitive than her partner's, the scent of battle didn't escape her attention. Probably, this was the final factor contributing to Adi's acceptance of reality, and one of the triggers to his resolve - to find a way to revert the situation back, no matter what it takes. She wasn't a fool, that's for sure. And anyone that wasn't a complete fool would quickly determine the most likely origin of the unnatural change, as well as the target it was intended to afflict, and possibly bring down...
And what she took in with all his senses, hiding just around the corner, only made her blood boil.
"I'm fine, put me down already, you transvestite," was the reply that came through clenched teeth as she lifted her head up to look at his partner. Their eyes met, and now, there was no more fear and confusion in Adelheid's eyes - only cold determination remained.
After she was set on her feet again, however, she looked at her weapon partner again, this time with a faint smile playing on her lips. "Thank you, Ani. Just-"
"don't call me Heidi, okay?" ... Now, let's find those who did this to us, and make them pay."
A murderuous glint set her eyes aflame, and she could swore she saw it reflected in the blonde's sky-blue eyes as well.

Living as a man?....... The electricity struck all at once, converging on one spot to make an extremely powerful strike of blue-white lightning. That one spot being Val. And the ruthless, cruel Eel Witch had put just enough power- not to yet kill her, but there would be pain, there would be paralysis- hell her entire nervous system would be fried. Unable to move, and feeling nothing but the searing pain. Amp just loved doing that! Would he stop there? Of course not! He sent out two water eels from the larger one to tear appart her limbs too~. Oh Val would be alive. But she'd be in pain and movement- well there was hardly any reason to continue existing. But Amp would let her exist. Make her exist pitifully in this foreve-weakened state. "Kii~shii~shii~shii~" he snickered in delight. "Well~, she~ won't be a problem~ to us~ anymore~." Glad do be done with that nuisance. The head, on which Amp stood, swiveled around to face Naoko. "How's~ it going~ over there~?" he asked coolly. Ampere Fight Theme......I'd rather die~.

As Val's body lay there, Everything seemed to go silent. There was an uncomfortably....peaceful aura. A rather large, shadow-like claw emerged from the ground and engulfed his figure. Like Death itself, it slowly dragged her underground to meet a certain fate...or possible not too distant future.
