99 Kishin eggs and 1 witch soul is a big number (and we honestly don’t have a spare witch for every weapon to kill) so here the tainted souls will be used as a scoring system for your characters.
A single soul will generally be awarded to you upon completing missions depending on the difficulty. You also get one for every random Kishin egg battle you win against someone with a witch.
Witches can be killed and have their souls devoured, though this will be much more difficult than your normal kishin fight.
This guild is still new, so we'll be working on the exact worth of souls, how they're rewarded, if the system needs tweaking at all, so expect more updates on this in the future. Just know Kishin souls will be a way to determine growth and power.

In an anime about death, you might die.
If you die, you start a new character by going through the application process per usual.
You also have the option of, in the meantime, become a Kishin egg of your character’s corroded soul. You’ll be slightly stronger than your basic Kishin egg, but there really is no actual benefit to becoming a Kishin egg. It’s just there if your character had some sort of horrible regret or was sort of evil or you just felt like beating the crap out of some Shibusen students.
