The purple lioness prowled the jungle with a determined gleam in her eyes. She would catch the gazelle, even if she had to stalk it for another week, she wouldn't give up! Her blue eyes took in all possible ways to charge, but just as she was about to pounce on its back, a patch of herbs caught her gaze. They were weird colored berries, black with little yellow spots. They were great for healing sever wounds, or even to numb the pain. Kanta took a step out from her hiding spot and in a leisurely manner, padded toward the bush. The gazelle seemed to take the dark lioness' presence as no longer a threat; as it stood there still grazing.
From the treetops, a rather violet colored bird flew and landed on Kanta's head. Perching herself there, she chirped a few words out to her companion, in an old language, before singing a melodic song.
"Ah, I won't starve. You worry too much, and besides I'm not a cub anymore. I know how to take care of myself," Kanta scolded in a light manner as she spoke to Ulla, while picking the berries and depositing them in a small pouch tied to her wrist.
