This is my tribute to the self-destructive nature of the Dean/Cas relationship we saw in 5x4: The End but without past!Dean. It's also my first fanmix.
This is how I see the story having gone, starting from Sam saying yes in Detroit and Dean turning to Cas for comfort, moving through Cas falling in love, travelling through the country together, Dean's life being more about nothing but Cas and the revenge, the hunting, to the realization of the obsession with the past, how it's killing them, to their one final night, to their final fights together in The End. In a nutshell.
