Tykier watched as his younger brother carefully swing on the swing set at the park. He was sitting down under a tree. It was a gorgeous day to be outside, he looked up to the clouds, and smiled. Kyler gently swung with both hands on the chains, and Tui and La were holding on as well. Their feathers rustling in the generated wind from the force of the swing.

A wonderful day it was to be outside. Too bad for the frazzled and worried new mother of a small yet excited spawn. The young spawn never saw a park before and could not choose what to go on first untill she spotted a open swing then took off in a small slow run to it. "Melody! Don't run!" yelled Nicole. She did not know how to take care of a toddler and especially one like her.
Melody did not hear the cry of her mother to stop running and made it to the swing. She crawled up on it and tried to push it but her feet dangled out of reach of the ground. "Mommy! Push pweez!". Nicole just sighed and walked over to her and gave a small push to get her going. "Tank yew" the young spawn said and swings her feet back and forth as she looked about. As Melody looked along the other swings she pointed out to Kyler with one hand. "Look Mommy! He has wings teew!" She tried to stop herself so she can see the strange person with wings as well but she could not touch down to stop.

Kyler's ears perked as he heard a voice next to him, "Hello? Anyone there?". Tui reached over to Melody, and La watched as Tui did so. Tykier was about to go to sleep from the peaceful day until he also heard the little girl. He opened his eye, and saw a girl, much like Bleez, swinging next to Kyler! He smiled, and slowly got up from his seated position from beneath the tree.

Melody finally stopped herself and got off the swing to get a good look at the boy next her her. With a skip that looked more like a trip that freaked her mother out she stood in front of Kyler. His wings where different than hers. Pretty purples and reds but what caught her eye was the tentacles on them She walked closer so she could try to touch them but height was a problem. "Wat's on yewr wings?" She asked out of curiosity. The poor little spawn did not know the boy was blind so she thought he sees her in front of him.
Nicole watched kinda afraid yet calm at the same time. Afraid cause she does not know the stranger but calm cause the boy looked a tiny bit like her.. Sure he did not have the spikes, horns, and tail but he had wings.... if you called them things on them wings. "Melody don't bother the poor boy please."

Tykier began to walk forward to the trio, and stopped before the border of the playground. He watched as the little girl curiously looked at Tui and La. He snickered a bit, not meaning to frighten anyone with it. Kyler's eyes wandered about, "Um... Those are my tentawings... Tui and La..." The preteen blushed a bit. Tui and La reached over a little more so that the little girl can feel and pet them.

Nicole watched Melody with a head shake and looked about the park. She saw kids playing on the slide, a man and woman sitting and chatting, a one eyed man, and some kids on jungle gyms. Wait. I man with one eye? She made a double take to make sure she was not seeing things. There he was at the edge of the playground watching Melody and the boy. She knew it was not polite to stare so she quickly turned her head back to Melody and Kyler but could not help but look back at the man.
Melody stretched till she reached she was able to pet Tui and La. "T-Tui.. and La" She repeated as she looked at the wings and back at the boy. A confused look went on her face as it seems that he did not see her. "I down here.... Can yew see me?" She asked in not a rude mannor but more confused than rude. Tilting her head she asked "If... Wings are Tui and La... What yewr name? I Melody."

Tykier saw that the woman was looking at him, and smiled and snickered a bit, but he, then, returned watching after his little brother. Kyler giggled a bit, "I can't see... I was born like that. My name's Kyler..! And Big Brother's here, too!" At the sound of his nickname, Ty smiled, and walked up a bit more. He nodded to the woman, and stood against a swing pole, "My name's Tykier."

Melody felt awful now and felt embarrassed about what she said. "I sorry." She said simply looking down. She never meant to rude or anything like it when she asked. Sure he took it calmly but the little kindness spawn felt terrible about her question to him about his sight. When she hear a different voice pop up she looked up and made a slight jump. Was he the big brother Kyler said. He was really tall in her point of view. Both where tall to her but she could not get over in her mind how tall he was. "I- I Melody." She said and noticed the Tykier's wings on his arms and how strange there where to her. "Yewr wings different... on arms and different. I have not seen wings wike that. They different than mine..." She was not being rude like before just seeing others that are different like her was new. Someday she would understand but right now she wanted to learn just a tiny bit about why do different.
Nicole just froze when the man walked over to Kyler and Melody. She did not know what to say but decided to keep her eyes on Melody so that she did not look at his one eye anymore. She was suprized that her spawn did not ask about his eye... yet.
