One of my friends asked me, "Where's Kira?" That made me realize that I was exactly like L xD I usually sit in class with my knees to my chest, and I don't get enough sleep (that explains the bags under my eyes) Then I'm always stealing peoples' cookies >:3

Well... I curl up like L whenever I'm in a stuffed chair, and i sleep a total of 6-7 hours a week.
I live off of chocolate like Mello and enjoy wearing leather jackets.
But I usually wear jeans and a tee-shirt. I always wear socks so that I can slide instead of walk.

I've tried to be like Matt. My sister yelled at me and told me to stop playing xBox 360...
I even had a candy cigarette in my mouth every time someone looked at me..

I must say I relate to L a lot.
The quirks like his way of sitting (I always like having at least one of my legs bent up, not always both of them) and obsession with sweets are both something I had already before watching Death Note. I tend to like a simple way of dressing and I like the colors that are typical for him - blue, white, black.
Then when I started watching it his character appealed to me in many ways. And he inspires me not just in the outer imitation (which is not important) but rather in wanting to be like him in the deeper personality traits - intelligence and knowledge, doing what is right even when it's very difficult/dangerous, being authentic instead of shaping oneself by the others' views... this comes with a certain modesty and humility too (he is concerned primarily with doing his job the best he can, not with what other people think of him).
There have been lots of fictional characters I have liked in various books, movies, games, but somehow L is very special to me and there are few that I consider as inspiring for me as him.
(It's also nice that my real name starts with L).

Oddly enough, my insomnia, chocolate/game obsession and general intelligence is what prompted my brother to give me the first graphic novel as a gift.
