Size/Shape: Rai stands around 6'1 and is muscularly built. He isn't very big, but he isn't small either.

Face: Rai is a good looking guy. He has deep hazel eyes that are very peaceful looking. His nose is a normal sized nose. His mouth is wide and almost always appears in a smile.

Hair: His hair is a little longer than short and its a dark brown.

Special Clothing: (if applicable) Rai wears his shinigami outfit so that his right arm is not through the sleeve. This causes the right half of his outfit to fall to his waist revealing the right portion of his body from the waist up. Rai wears a necklace that has a golden pendant with an elephant on it.




Zanpakuto Spirit:
Name: Ganesha

Appearance: Ganesha is an extremely large man with the head of an elephant and four arms. He is often seen sitting on a large throne-like cushion in a cross legged position.

Personality: Ganesha is a very cheerful spirit. He is constantly smiling and willing to help. The most impressive thing about Ganesha is his memory and intelligence. You can often find Ryon studying with Ganesha using the vast number of books in the inner world to study. Any question Ryon has can be answered by Ganesha as it seems he has all the answers. From thousands of years in his inner world Ganesha has read almost every book and retained the knowledge within them.

Inner World: The inner world for Ganesha is a large palace. The main chamber is extremely large and the walls are lined with bookshelves. The rooms are filled with golden artwork and shows that Ganesha is considered royalty.

Weapon Info:
Type: Zanpakuto

Name: Kioku (memory) Ganesha Kioku ((Great Memory))

Appearance: In its unreleased form the blade of Kioku is long and slender with a black edge. The handle is wrapped in the traditional criss cross pattern with red criss crossing, leaving gold diamonds along the handle. There is a golden tassel at the end.

Shikai Release Info:
Phrase: Oboeteimasu karera no nooryoku, kesu karera no kioku. (Remember their ability, erase their memory.)

Appearance: When the phrase is uttered Kioku morphs into a golden Sword with oxen jewels place around it.

Abilities:
1.) Remember: When defending against an attack Kioku grants Rai the ability to memorize the pattern, ability, effect and style of an attack down to the smallest detail. Rai uses this ability coupled with his superior intellect so that any attack that's repeated will be easily countered. If there is a weakness in an attack that has been memorized, when repeated the weakness of that attack will be exploited.

2.) Forget: This is the second ability of Kioku's shikai. When an attack is memorized by Kioku it gains the ability to seal that attack. In order to seal the attack Kioku must make contact with the item that the attack originated from. When contact is made the opponent will instantly forget how to use the attack. (ex. a shikai grants a shinigami the ability to use attack X. When attack X is memorized, if Kioku contacts the shinigami's zanpakuto, the shinigami will no longer be able to use attack X.)

Bankai Release Info:
Phrase: Oh Lord Ganesha lend me your vast knowledge, give me your memory and recall the past.

Appearance: In its bankai form the elephant head at the end of the staff greatly increases in size but not much else changes.

Abilities:
1.) Remember: Same as in shikai.

2.) Forget: Same as in shikai.

3.) Copy: The key to this attack is the remember ability. After Kioku remembers an attack it never forgets it. While in bankai Kioku is able to copy any memorized attack and use it itself. The only drawback is that the copied attacks are slightly weaker than the original.





History/Background:

Rai was born to a very wealthy town in Kurakura town. This was both a blessing and a curse for him. As he grew up his parents often kept him sheltered away from the masses of the town. He was private schooled at a very early age and wasn't allowed out too often. Because of this Rai spent a lot of his time reading books. One of his favorite type of books to read were history books. This is where Ryon discovered his passion for Hinduism. He spent countless hours reading into the teachings of Hinduism, its history and its practice. He quickly developed a special interest in one of the main Gods, Ganesha. Ganesha reminded Ryon of himself. He was royalty, he had a great memory, he worked to remove obstacles, and he was very intelligent.

As Rai grew up he became more and more interested in the Hindu religion. He began attending ceremonies and went to services. Rai had reached a point in his life where he was at peace, but this peace would soon be ended. Not long after his 13th birthday Rai was abducted by a man named Hyoku Matsuhashi. He was the leader of a local crime syndicate called the Matsuhashi Hundred. They specialized in abduction and ransom. Rai's family tried mercilessly to get their child back. They paid over ten million dollars in ransom money, but they never got their child back. The moment before Rai was killed he closed his eyes and wrapped his had around the elephant pendant around his neck. He was at peace, unafraid of what was to come.

Rai awoke walking through a poor looking area. "Where am I?" He thought to himself. Off in the distance he could see a large white tower. He wondered if he had died and then stopped to ask a man something. "Excuse me sir, what is that large white tower over there?" The man looked at him with an annoyed look on his face. "What the hell's wrong with ya kid? Thats the Seireitai. Now get off of me." The man pushed Ryon out of the way making him fall to the ground. Ryon got up and yelled at the man. "Do you know who I am?! I am Kaitsahuro Rai, son of Kaitsahuro Tsubeki! I demand you apologize now!" The man just scoffed at him. "Ya, well here in the world of the dead you get a clean start, so you can take that royalty attitude and check it at the door son." The man continued on his way leaving Rai confused. He realized he was dead, and he was all alone.

Rai was all alone in this new world. He had no idea where or what to do. The only thing he could find solace in was the elephant pendant around his neck and what it represented. Rai had been given everything his entire life, but now he had to fend for himself. He was at the bottom of the ladder but this wasn't going to stop him. Rai worked hard for years. He went to school, read more books, and eventually owned his own book store. After getting enough money Rai purchased his own laboratory. He began experimenting with spirit particles, elements, anything he could get his hands on. His reputation for intelligence started spreading throughout the soul society. He opened his own science supplies shop and was beginning to rake in the money. One of his best customers was an odd looking man who wore a white haori. He was constantly in the shop getting all sorts of supplies. The one day the man came, but he wasn't interested in supplies. He had a proposal for Ryon. He wanted Rai to come work in the seireitai as part of the research division. Rai took the offer, and began he journey into the world of the Shinigami.
