It's a well known fact that vegans only eat sticks and twigs that we ask permission from the trees before we take.

95. Being told "You can pick the meat off." In exasperation, I once replied,"Well, for me that would be the same as if I crapped on your food and told you you could just pick it off. Would you?"

Short Melancholic 95. Being told "You can pick the meat off." In exasperation, I once replied,"Well, for me that would be the same as if I crapped on your food and told you you could just pick it off. Would you?" that's my favorite <333 i have yet to use the rebuttal in action though T _T

"144. having resorted to carrying around a list of why I am vegan and common questions with answers so that if anyone asks me anything involving my diet choice I can just hand it to them then casually ask them when they are done if there are any points that they find unclear. "
haha That actually sounds like a pretty good idea. Someone should make up that Q&A so we can all print it out. (I'm way too unmotivated right now to start on something like that at the moment.)
I didn't like this one though: "146. the real meaning when you hear someone say.... my parents won't let me= i'm not motivated enough"
Some times if you don't have a job, can't get a job, and the people you live with are the only ones providing, I think it's rude to "force" them to conform to your eating habits by buying it for you. Sometimes parents are nice enough to at least buy certain veg foods. Like alt. "milk", or more fruits and vegetables so you can cook. And if they don't have the money to keep up, sometimes all you CAN do is consume some kind of non vegan thing.

Lol. In response to number 50...
That sort of thing happens to me a lot. Luckily I'm not vegan yet (still in a transitional phase) and my husband has some time to adjust... but seriously. I appreciate his efforts in everything, and I love him for it even if he screwed up... but I wish he could take into consideration that I don't want any gifts that were tested on animals.
