Personality: Kai when on the job is very quiet, not bothering to talk to anyone. When off he will talk, but he mainly sticks to himself. When under pressure he can pretty much freeze time for himself and take the entire situation and his surroundings in, doing hundreds of calculations in the blink of an eye going over hundreds of scenarios, which is why he is in the special ops. He isn’t what you would call, “ambitious” neither would you call him “lazy” he just tries to get the job done as quickly and effectively as possible. He is also rather a flirt.
Equipment: Zanpakuto and assortment of knives and blades, hidden in the folds of his somewhat loose uniform.
Biography: As a kid, Kai was raised in an abusive household, his father always away doing “government” business and his mother coming home drunk almost every night. The nights that his father were home were the happiest…until he was killed on one of his “jobs”. The man at the door was wearing all black and sunglasses. He and his mother talked in hushed tones until he saw his mother breakdown in tears and he knew he wouldn’t be able to sleep that night. Driven by the sorrow of her husband’s death she left the house with Kai, taking him to one of his favorite places to go with his father. This was a surprise as he thought she had taken him somewhere to kill him but instead she just cried the whole time. After that Kai and his mother grew close, the beatings just seemed like a nightmare. But all good things must come to an end sometime, what goes around comes around and Kai was no exception, an innocent bystander of his father’s actions. Apparently his last mission ended in failure with the son of some high crime lord in Japan’s son dying. Just as Kai was about to take his diploma a bullet struck, going right through one ear and out the other, hitting his teacher in the leg. As he fell, though he could no longer hear and he died he could have sworn he could hear his mother calling his name…many years passed and his living life seemed to be a dream just like the abuse he had gone through as a child. He was recruited into the 2nd division for his abilaties in stealth and information gathering.


Zanpakuto Information

Sealed: Kai’s zanpakuto resembles a shortened longsword and goes into a kattana-length scabbard. Lightweight and mobile, this weapon has saved him more than once. The unexpected shortness of the blade is meant to throw of people’s judgment of how fast it could be used. Fast and strong, it, like its scabbard, has a midnight black blade. Its hilt is a little unorthodox, it has what seem like two sets of horns on either side of the blade the first set, smaller than the other is at the base of the blade, the other larger set near the top of the hilt.
