Welcome to the Card Game Chatter Forum.
Pokemon cards is something that requires a very different kind of expertise than playing the Game Boy games. Your strategy depends on what you got and how clever you are, and the element of chance as well since who knows what is going to come up next in your deck on your turn. (Unless you're cheating, then shame on you....)
So indulge in your card game chatter to your heart's content here. Until decided otherwise, I feel the old Game Boy Cards game is not a comparable subject and is best kept to the General Pokemon Chatter forum or the forum for supportive pokemon games, unless you have a releveant reason for its mention, such as comparing the game to your real card deck.

Happy Posting! I wish there was a DS verson of the pokemon TCG. I also have the real cards at home. (I got at least 7 binders full of them.) But I never get anyone to play any decks with me. crying

I've a few old promotional cards lying around somewhere, like a Mewtwo card and a Unown card.

I, myself, was never into those TCG for any series weather it would be Pokemon, Yu-Ghi-Oh, Digimon anything really. I love the card art on most of them, but really thats the best it would get for TCG. I guess it just never was compatible with me.
But thats my crazy self!
