They showed this in my linguistics class.... I must say her accents are good but her torontonian one is lame.

Ehhh....her Toronto accent needs work.

Also: I live in Los Angeles, and I don't have that "squeakiness" in my voice that she does, but some people do. ><

Not everyone has the accent or dialect that comes with the place they live in. I've got friends in Texas that sound like they come from New York or Connecticut.

Yeah. Everyone has different voices, regardless of accent.

I wonder how does one have an accent of a different area than the one they grew up in, unless they've changed their accents purposely / due to moving away.
