Okay, after watching a lot of Korean dramas, I have to ask this: Are Korean parents strict about who their child hooks up with or marries? I mean, in dramas I've watched, the boyfriend's parents don't approve of the girlfriend because she's not up to their standards, and vice-versa. So I'm just curious.

My mom isn't all that strict and neither is my dad. Now my grandma is a different. But yeah my parents aren't.
