http://finerpointsofliving.blogspot.com/2010/01/launch.html
It's mostly about food so far... for the 3 topics covered so far.
It's mostly just a stream of consciousness, so it's not that well thought out. I'm still trying to figure out how to format the background the way I want. Anyone know HTML?
It has a ShoutBox, now, for people without Gmail, twitter, blogger, or anything else compatible with blogger. http://finerpointsofliving.blogspot.com/p/blog-page.html
Drop me a line.

I would suggest just do whatever comes up. That's what I do... and Lord knows, but people read it.

I've been reading your blog whee I'm a lurker, though, lol. I saved that recipe for Challah bread, it looks yummy. I love braided breads.
And it's been a while, but I know a lot of basic HTML. I could help or give you how-to websites if you want.

I just want to know where in the code I need to insert what code to have a floating background image.
If you know how to do that I'd be glad for the help.

Oh wow, I'm so sorry! I spaced and got addicted to an MMO, so I've been spending all my computer time doing that stressed But I'm back on Gaia now! lol. By floating, do you mean the image doesn't move when you scroll the text? If so, this is the code, and it goes in the same area that your image does: Or do you mean a moving image like Yoda on this page? If so, try this:

It doesn't bother me at all, but it's still good to know if you ever wanna spice it up a little.
The body line is usually near the top of the code. A basic page usually goes:
Page-y stuff goes here
lol Or you may need to just past the background code into an editing box or something. I need to check out that website. If you can paste the code for your blog I can prolly find it.
Edit: I just made a bloggy thingy, and have discovered that the info above is probably useless to you, lol. I'll have to play around with it a little to find how to write in an image. Will report back when successful heart

Gee that was fun, I miss doing HTML.. Is this the kind of background you want? (Not the picture or where it's placed, but how the text rolls over it) http://mystikmama.blogspot.com/

(Not the picture or where it's placed, but how the text rolls over it) http://mystikmama.blogspot.com/Yeah, that's what I was planning on doing. I was thinking of justifying one right and another left, or just making a solid ribbon of color between margins., when the text goes. Or, If I was feeling like going into photo-shop and drawing all of it, having one floating image, in the margins, of a solid color layered behind two separate , not floating images that transition into that color. That'd be really complicated, and my knowledge of HTML is really limited. That's why I was having trouble finding the body. I've only ever edited on myspace... years ago, infact, by chopping up bits of other peoples' codes.
