Miss Chloie got me Kyo Kara Maoh Season 1 for Christmas along with the second volume of the manga! I am so excited! I hope it is making it's way here ASAP~! I just love it! heart
Who is your favorite character?
For those of you who don't know...
Yuri Shibuya was living a pretty normal life. That changed the day he was dunked into a toilet after an attempt to save a classmate from a gang of bullies. Instead of just getting a good soaking, he's pulled in. The next thing he knows, he's in a world that vaguely resembles medieval Europe. If that's not odd enough, he's told that he is to be the next Maoh, just because he has black hair and black eyes. The Maoh is the King of the Mazoku, who are coexisting not-so-peacefully with the humans in this world. Much to his subjects' dismay, he's totally different from the rulers they're accustomed to. He's kind, considerate, a believer in justice, and not willing to use violence to solve conflicts. Not exactly someone they want running a country on the very brink of war. Now, Yuri has to deal with trying to become a good Maoh, while at the same time attempting to adapt to this lands' customs and culture, all in a world where the tension between the humans and Mazoku is reaching its peak.

Wolfram von Bielefeld is my favorite~! I love his personality and he is just so beautiful to ignore! Plus he and Yuri are so cute together!

Oh. Em. Gee. -stops for rabid fangirl moment- <3333
I don't even know where to start with this... the beginning may seem slow, but it gets really good near the end of season 1 and the best part is all the characters can be paired so well with each other and... Shinou and Daikenja are love~ -faints-
[Highlight white text above for some maybe-season-2-spoilers. But since I don't know where you are in the series, and/or don't know what you consider a spoiler, I whited it out. Although it's not REALLY a spoiler considering it was mentioned in Season 1 but... whatever.]
I could seriously rant here all day, but I won't. But back on track... I can't pick out a favorite, it's just too hard. xDDD; This is one of the few series I am able to watch almost tirelessly. It's a shame season 3 hasn't made it's way over to the English-speaking market yet, but that's okay, since I'm buying the Japanese DVD's although that doesn't particularly work if one doesn't understand Japanese. I've seen the fansubs, and while the 3rd season is more of an afterstory-adventure-plot-fillerish-even-though-it-was-in-the-novels-thing, and doesn't provide the same feel as the first 2 seasons, there is improved animation and some cute fluff-fangirl-driven episodes (plus a bishie that gives Wolfram a run for his money, says Yuuri. ;3). [Episode 16 of Season 3 is MORE LOVE~~]
...Look at me, I ended up ranting anyway, even though I said I wouldn't. xD But I can't help it when it comes to my fandoms~~~

My best friend has tried to get me into the series, but I haven't had time for it, nor have I been hooked. Someone gave me the first manga as a present, and I enjoy it, but I'm not sold on it yet. I guess I need to read more or watch the anime. I heard it was pretty good though - something considered underrated though really good. The artwork is amazing though. 3nodding
