Is 'bisexual' considered an actual sexuality? Because I have felt attracted to both girls and boys over the years, yet am now leaning towards boys. Is it possible that I just was confused and lonely when I dated girls? What do you think about the term 'bisexual'?

There are probably nobody 100% straight or 100% gay/lesbian. It's not black or white, but various shades in between smile

Most people actually use the Kinsey scale to describe sexuality. Here is info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kinsey_scale
0 Exclusively heterosexual
1 Predominantly heterosexual, only incidentally homosexual
2 Predominantly heterosexual, but more than incidentally homosexual
3 Equally heterosexual and homosexual; bisexual.
4 Predominantly homosexual, but more than incidentally heterosexual
5 Predominantly homosexual, only incidentally heterosexual
6 Exclusively homosexual
X Asexual, Non-Sexual
Bisexual is a legigment sexuality. I consider myself bisexual as well. Where I would most likely rather have a releationship with a man doesn't mean I wouldn't consider a women in the same regards.
But I also believe there are two different pieces to sexuality. One side is pure bodily lust, and the second side being emotion.
So where some people are sexually attractied to men they can be emotionally attracted to women. The same can work vise versa.
It could be possible that you were confused an lonely, I think we all have a time of our lives when we are. Though I wouldn't fret over it too much, people tend to slide up and down the Kinsey scale thoughout their lives.
And of course there is always Pansexuallity which is pretty much 'Love all, Ignore gender'.
