But srsly, joining the military is kinda like highschool. At first it's super tough and you will feel like quitting and cry for home (basic). After a year or so (training) everything will seem to slow down and it will be like having a normal job with the exception you have to wake up early to work out and your shifts will change often. Once your career is established or you finish your reserve term, everything seems slow and easy like being a senior in highschool.
My entire family is military and my sister is active and just came back from Iraq lol.
