That just want I was saying in the thread titled "Rumor". I would really like to see new forms for classic Pokemon as well as ones that don't really evolve at all. It like yay I caught his lame thing. It would be also be cool to upgrade some of the common HM Slaves as well.

look at the past, carefully,
in RBY they said G/S were rumored but then boom +100 pokemon and a three-year story advancement
then shortly after g/s reach about 2.5 years of age, they rumored the new hoenn pokemon by showing off kecleon in th show
whereas in the animated shrot in the first movie, they shwoed off Snubbull and Elekid
then to intro gen4 they showed of lucario
i see a pattern there as each 'showoff' came 2.5years after the release of the previous gen
and D/P/PL is getting near there...but looking from last gen, then there wont be aconfirm untl HG/SS reach a year or 1.5 of age

That's interesting stuff! But I have to say I doubt we'll ever see any evolutions of the legendary pokemon. Since they are legendary, I guess they're supposed to be "perfect" or at least at their peak of evolution.
It would be more likely to see "baby" forms of legendaries, like Phione. But even that doesn't always mesh with the story; I mean, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina and Arceus, for instance, are supposed to be guardians of time, space, etc...they're basically the gods of the pokemon world. So it wouldn't make much sense for them to have any sort of evolution. The same is true of Mesprit, Azelf, and Uxie.
But Mew, Mewtwo, Darkrai, Jirachi, Celebi, Shaymin, Deoxys, and the other legendary trios...all those are possibilities. There are apparently more than one of the Regi-trio (one of the Frontier Brains has them, and wild versions show up in Lucario and the Mystery of Mew), and I don't see why the Moltres, Zapdos, Articuno and/or Ho-oh wouldn't have one. Though are Ho-oh and Lugia considered 'gods' in Gold/Silver? I know they're considered guardians at the very least, but that could be an inherited title passed between one Lugia to the next.
Anyway, it's fun to speculate, but again, I doubt they'll ever give us evolutions for the legendaries. They'd rather we buy this game or that to get a chance of porting them in. And if they could evolve, there would have to be a chance that they could breed, and then there'd be legendaries everywhere and they'd be somewhat less legendary then, right? xd

A baby Zapdos would be so cute. As it would probably look like one of those Peeps candies. All yellow and fluffy. DO WANT! Also, more dog type of Pokemon. Like I know it a Japanese game but dogs are cute too. (Or maybe I have been brained washed by hours of Nintendo Dogz) So some dog type Pokemon would be loved. Oh and more horse type as well. That would be sweet.
