She couldn't say she was incredibly happy with her sister abandoning her pup.. She bristled a bit, and remembered what it was Turbo had said.
'Im not looking to be a mother..Its not something Im capable of.' Then she was gone. Reaction growled a little under her breath, and stalked around the trunks of the trees. She had said she would wait here for Rocket's arrival. Turbo had felt it bad taste to leave her, when she could walk there herself.
It was quite.. odd how Turbo's mind worked. But Reaction loved Turbo, and in turn, she loved Rocket.
She had only met Rocket a few times.. After all, she had been there during their birth.
She only hoped that Rocket would be happy in her new home. She would have a family here. Something her rogue loner mother couldnt give her.
She looked at the sky, and noted that the sun was going down rather quickly. Within minutes, she was sure that darkness would blanket the sky.
She hoped Rocket got here before that.. She didn't want to have to wait too long outside the packlands. It was a dangerous place to be, and she shivered a bit.
She could hold her own though, so she stood tall, still.
"Come on Honey, I know you'll find me.."

 Growing up she'd felt a little...left out? Her father hadn't stuck around. Her mother was always on the move, never staying in one place for too long and never staying with one man for very many nights. As a pup, she hadn't realized but now that she was older? To be honest, it left a bad taste in her mouth. Weren't mates supposed to be together? The young wolf felt it was wrong. Sure, life wasn't always happy. But life had to be brighter than the one she was living. A loner's life just wasn't for her.
Turbo had given her a goodbye earlier in the day and told her to seek out her Aunt Reaction in the packlands of Druag Faroth. "Soar little bird. It's not the end..." And Rocket had said farewell to her mother and started off.
A new life. Packlife... She got a thrill of excitement, followed by one of fear. What if they didn't like her? She'd have her aunt, afterall...but the other wolves? Rocket ducked her head and hurried through the woods, fearing someone was behind her. Spying a black form, she slowed, creeping up slowly. "Aunt Reaction?" Her voice was soft, almost timid. She didn't want her face ripped off by some stranger now that she was on packland.

She scented the air, and a smile came to her maw as she smelled her niece. She was safe, after all. That gave her a feeling of relief, and she felt her chest loosen up from its previous tightness.
She then perked an ear, catching the sound of the voice as it sounded nearby. She almost jumped with excitement as she recognized it as her young ward's voice.
"Rocket, dear. Over here." She called, and pawed in place as she awaited the arrival.
She flicked her tail to the side, and lifted her head up to give a little howl. She wanted the pack to be aware that she had found what she was looking for, and she was heading back home. Her voice was beautiful and eerie, as it echoed through the skies.
"Hurry dear, best to reach the lands before nightfall!"
She called.

At the voice of her aunt, she relaxed, her heart fluttering in her ribcage. "S-Surething," she murmured, hurrying forwards with quick and quiet steps. She kept her tail tucked deep between her thighs -- just in case, and besides, she wasn't an overly assertive wolf -- and hurried after her blue and black furred aunt. At the sound of the howl, Rocket had to bite back the impulse to join her cry, her own voice soft and breathy. The urge to howl was hard to resist. She clamped her jaws shut and moved to walk beside Reaction, bumping her shoulder once and then ducking her head. "They won't...hate me, will they? Since I wasn't born here?"

She let out a little chuckle, and enjoyed the touch of her family. She had lived so far from them for so long that she had forgotten what it was like to have family.
"They will not hate you, you goofball. Surely you know that."
She chuckled, and began padding towards the boundaries of the pack lands. She knew that Rocket would be accepted here easily. It filled her with a sense of pride. At least she wasnt like her mother.
"They're going to adore you, and there are plenty of other wolves around you. You'll make friends."
