Personality: Seraph is the most arrogant man in professional wrestling. Unfortunately for his opponents, he backs it up. He talks trash before, during, and after a match. Seraph has in shoot interviews claimed his character was influenced heavily by Chris Jericho.

Bio: Matt began wrestling at age 17, thanks to meeting eight-time world champion Daniel Cross's niece Savannah in his biology class. The two began dating, and Matt was introduced to her uncle. Daniel admitted Matt to his training camp, and he graduated in 2007. Under his real name, Pierce, and with his girlfriend using the ring name Lyon, Matt and Savannah debuted later that year. In early 2008, Seraph won the American Wrestling Confederacy Championship, a match which became famous for its finish. Matt, then a face, won the championship after Savannah slipped him a baseball bat while the referee wasn't looking. Seraph smashed champion Chris Danzig in the head, covering him for the shocking upset and the title. Seraph went on to become the promotion's top heel, getting much more mic time and establishing himself as one of the best mic men in the business. Seraph then made the move to EEW, bringing Savannah with him.
