I've heard lots of complaints in my numerous forums about how they ended the Aizen spree. Personally, I'm going to look at things from a perspective different than the many fangirls I have seen: "OMGz I'm so sad that my Ichirukia fantasies won't come true", and the like.
First of all, anyone here remember what happened to KHR recently (meaning several months ago)? They killed Byakuran, and then what? They went into a crappy new arc with new villains that totally sucked. Sometimes, a series just needs to end. The writers more often than not milk a franchise for more than its worth. I'm worried that if Bleach decides to do something stupid just to extend the series's life that it will totally kill it. After all, with simple Shonen (meaning not super deep and thought-provoking) like Bleach, Naruto, KHR, etc. it isn't hard to kill it. One bad plot and the story is dead. Period.
All in all, I think that they should (or should have, I suppose) ended the series like this. It wraps up enough of the loose ends to leave the reader satisfied, and yet leaves enough loose ends for fanfic, RPing, etc. I personally liked the way that they ended the Aizen thing, it made the series so much better than the many over rated series where the hero wins with no consequences whatsoever and the bad guy dies forever. However, unlike KHR, I've been reading Bleach since, like, fourth grade so I suppose I'll stay with it through whatever Kubo decides to do next...
