Knowing God's will for our lives and what He would like us to do, even in our day to day lives is one of the most important things we could ever know. In order to do that, we have to have an open line of communication with Him, basically a relationship. It's not some far fetched thing that only happens to preachers or a few "special" people. That's what we humans had before the infamous fall and God wants us to be with Him. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He is the great "I AM" afterall. Have faith and seek Him. Not for things, but just talk to Him, thank Him and Tell Him how great He is and you will be rewarded.
