I was about 5/6, I always slept by the wall on top of my Double bed, but one night something freaked me out.
My shadow sat up and waved at me, I got so freaked out I didn't sleep next to the wall for 4 years, I was to scared of it happening again.

Either you were half asleep, or it was paranormal phenomena. Spirits are known to take the form of shadows. Perhaps the spirit is of someone your age? Perhaps someone died in the house? Have you noticed anything else strange inside of your house, or in that particular room? Try staying up one night and doing some research, there could be more to it then just a shadow.

It could have easily been your eyes playing tricks on you.
In situations such as that, it is very easy to overreact to simple things.
I have thought that I have seen shadows move, but it is quite improbable.

Is there a chance that it could have been something paranormal, yes.
But the chances are so slim, that logic refuses me to believe it.
