That day finally came, the day when a lioness wished to go out and search for herself. Though she came from one of the most loving families in Tiansha, Becca had finally reached that age. So now she pads out of her families lands, prepared for a long walk to clear her head. She loved her family to no end, but she never got much alone time, so this would be very good for her. By the time she'd made a mile's distance from her home she turned to look back, feeling sad for one moment, but her smile quickly returned when her Father's words went through her head. He'd told her to hold her head high, to be proud of the fact that she'd been born with a loving and forgiving heart. And that he knew she could get past any problem.
As those familiar words ran through her mind Becca held her head high, a warm smile formed on her lips as all tension and fear left her or became so small it was easily ignored. Nothing would keep her from learning about herself and the world. Her Father had made sure of that with his unlimited pure love and protection. "Now to show that my wings have fully grown."

Yuu glanced at his mate's grave, how he missed her, and he'd given up trying to find her murder. There was nothing left here for him any more. BUt he stayed alive for his mate, he knew she'd want him to live, but he was just unable to continue on from where he left off, she and his family where what truly mattered to the lion. No longer where they here and he couldn't find himself able to continue on. Day after day Yuu just continued to stare off across the ocean, once in a while he would leave for food but would return to the same place quickly.
He would never betray his mate, but he couldn't leave her alone like this either. His entire family lie here. How could he leave them?

As Becca padded along her clear eyes glancing up at the sky something seemed to wash over her. Since she was born she had the gift of catching another's emotions if they were close enough. Right now she felt such despair and sorrow tears began welling in her eyes. Without a second thought she padded swiftly toward whoever it was. It wasn't long before she spotted a lone male, his sillouette caught by the sun as it stood on the sandy beach. For the longest time she just stood there watching him.
Slowly she padded over, careful not to startle him. A warmth radiated from her as she moved to sit beside him, her appearance and voice rather soothing, no intention of scaring the poor fellow. "You carry such a deep sadness inside you...it clenches your heart in a vice grip..." She felt no need to introduce herself, not yet. First she wished only to find someway to help him. "What are your troubles? I will simply listen to you if you should need to vent..."

At first Yuu was unsure of the feeling that seemed to wash over him he stood and faced her rather defensively, why was she here and what did she honestly know about his deep sorrow. This one obviously came from a happy family. He'd had that once but no longer.
"What would a lioness sheltered from the cruelties of the world know of my pains?" HE spoke harshly, the bitterness of loss returned to his voice. What could she honestly know? there was absolutely nothing she could do unless she could bring back the dead. Though as she spoke he became curious
"Why?" Yuu asked relaxing a little. "Why would you bother?"

Becca sat there and took all the male threw at her, never flinching or dropping that pure smile. Once he'd finished with a question her eyes met his. "I may not know of the pains you have suffered, but everybody suffers one way or another. My Father for instance is the size of a teen lion and suffers from an illness that robbed him of his hind leg's functions. He hobbles and cannot run, but his heart and smile are pure and loving. My sister just lost a Mother she never got the chance to talk to. Everybody has troubles." Throughout the whole time she spoke her voice remained sweet and caring. She never sounded angry or irritated with the male.
"Why? Because I honestly believe everybody needs somebody to listen to them at some point. Everybody needs just a little love." She then stood, though did not retreat or move closer.

"That may be but it has nothing to do with me." HE responded his voice still hurt from his loss all those years ago.
"Talking wont bring them back." he growled lightly turning from her. If she would just go away it would be better, he wouldn't have to bring his loss up again. He had long since lost hope of finding their murderers but he certainly didn't need another bothering him about how he felt.

"Then I'll go. I do not want to hurt you." She stood, looking at him for a long moment before speaking again. "But tell me one thing...would your mate...anybody that loves you want to see you how you are? Would they feel happy that you stayed put and died here? Or would they want you to live and be happy? Use their memory to live life to the fullest...that is all I ask you, but there is no need to answer me...I will leave you to them now." With that she turned away, surprised to feel tears in her own eyes. She never really cried about anything, but...something touched her heart now.

The words she said hit him hard. as a slab of ice seemed to break around his secluded heart. one layer of ice vanished. What would Yuki think? He had been completely obsessed with finding their killer and protecting this place he had completely lost himself in the process.
"w.. Wait." was she crying? Had he made her cry? "Please don't Cry." he ran up behind her and placed a paw on her shoulder. "I'm sorry."

His words directed toward her made her stop. She looked back at him, blinking once as confusion hit her. She hadn't expected him to come after her, and when she blinked a few tears fell. "I just feel your sorrow...it is so powerful that it can be felt for a ways away. Besides...I cannot stand to watch others hurt. It's a terrible feeling. You have so much you could do in this life...seeing you so lost..it hurt." She shied away from his paw a little, but let him put it on her shoulder anyway. She felt strange around him and did not want to face it.
