******** the cold, was about the only coherent thought Zach could get out at that point. In a fit of subborness, he'd declared that he loved winter to spite his mother, and headed out into the wild white world.
Which was all well and good, except that he didn't like winter. Winter was boring. Winter was stupid. Winter was really, really ******** cold.
What could you do in winter? There was hardly anyone at the park. You could make snow men! Whoop de ******** doo. You could make snow angels! Yeah, his tendrils would love that.
Currently, the man-o-war child sat on the swings at the park, damn near certain that his butt was going to freeze to the swing, and his tendrils were going to break off. Man, ******** winter.

"D-don't g-go too f-fast, 'Juna!" Anoki called, struggling to keep up as they left the apartment complex, while tugging a reluctant Myung-Ki. He didn't particularly mind the cold, not when he was dressed warmly in a thick sweater and long scarf. But he did mind losing Arjuna when Raven had specifically told him to watch the younger boy. And to not get into trouble.
Arjuna rolled his eyes as he ran, clearly thinking "get real." He'd been stuck inside watching the snow fall long enough. Now that he was outside, he was going to do what he liked, and nobody was going to stop him.
Well, maybe the kid with the see-through body would make him stop. Slowing as he passed the swingset, Arjuna faltered and watched. After several seconds of blatant staring, he took a few steps forward and boldly asked "wherre's yourr insides?"

Zach eyed the small boy and let out a puff of warm air. "Where do you think my insides are? Inside of me!" Duh. They were just see thru, stupid little fuzzy.
The boy stopped his swinging, glaring at the other child. Arrr.
