James Lanam's cell mate has been in the prison for more than 3 years. He was by far the last survivor in that time period. The others either died or executed. His former bounty turned out to be 250,000,000 and is a Logia type controlling water. Unlike the Toro Toro fruit. It can control large amount of water and is said to be better than Usuke Agua, the marine. His name was Daeh Uac. He and James constantly shared stories about there past and probably the not so clear future."Your crew is pretty tough isn't it?" Daeh asked with tired expression.

The days went by with ease. Until James receive a note from Israel, who just receive the note from his crewmates. Half of the Level 6 prisoners are going to escape, and they needed a leader. On the vote, they chose him,James. This was going to be a pain, but the prisoners knew there faith and had no other choice but to escape. Daeh help him plan out some parts of it and now they only needed to find a way to get the Prison guard Magellan to go down. There solution was sadly solve 3 days later as Magellan announce on the intercom that Daeh was scheduled to be executed and will be pick up at 20:00. This was the only way. Plan complete.

There plan was solid. Until they had to face the monsters. Magellan was already out of the picture so this should be a bit easier.

Jame's and co managed to make it to Level 2 before being stop by more gorilla's. Or thats what it looks like. Israel and his crew volunteered to stop and the rest went ahead. As the sun was seen Daeh started to cry. Its been forever since he saw the sky. The first wave of prisoners, the ones from level 2 and 1 were the ones in front as they were the more well fed. The moment they step out was there mistake as an Admiral was standing outside.

James saw each of the level 1 and 2 falling one by one. He decided to step in front as he had no other choice. He was the leader of the resistance so he will have to face the enemy by himself. As he got out in the sun, his eyes started to hurt, but within minutes they were back to normal. He looked at who was attacking and he saw her." Terra......" He said and a arrow hit him near the heart.

James was walking around wondering where Ferra was. He always talk to her since they met. She was this shy girl who was a daughter of a Marine Admiral. James always and to sneak in her room at a certain time of a certain day, but today, she was going to talk with him, personally. She said something about affecting there future. Even though he was only 13 and she was 12, he already knew he would marry her some day. But his pirate future seemed to be more important than that.
He found her siting near the shore staring at the waves as they pass by "Hey what's up?" He asked and she stood up and hugged him. Not her usual comfortable hug but more of an comfortable hug.
"James I'm going away..."
"What?!?! Why, How, When"
"Its my fathers decision. I beg him to let me stay but he said I'm the future of the marines" She said tears streaming down her eyes. "James come with me"
"What?" He asked confused.
"I mean come with me to the marines training. We can be admirals since your powerful already."
"But I don't even know how to use this power. Its strange to use gravity."
"But James you'll still come right?"
"....I'm sorry, but my heart is in the vast ocean, living a free life, with no rules. The marines isn;t really the thing for me. I am more of a pirate type." James said hiding his own hurt feelings. He wanted to come but he couldn't and wouldn't.
Ferra slap James and ran back home. The next day James tried to catch up to Ferra to say good bye and tell her the truth about his feelings, but Her father arranged to leave earlier than usual, she was gone......
From that day James eyes change color from being alone for so long. They use to be the beautiful Lime green which Ferra use to look at and smile into light brown.

"Sorry Ferra..." James said coughing up blood. "But my heart belongs in the ocean." That must have been the signal since the people who back up were now charging forward and Ferra fell back and retreated to her former marines. Daeh was holding up well fighting. While the commotion was happening James painfully stole one of the marine ship. There was only one way of escape and that was going through the main base. But he had gravity on his side so after most of the escapee joined in on the ship, James raised the gravity so that the ship was flying. They were going back. Home.
