Stands and gears, oh how the daisies bloom When chandeliers light up the engine room Can you feel the drops as it starts to rain there's an underwater Ferris wheel where I found the missing link to this island chain
Home will always be here on scenery's side? Where I disappear and hide I think dreamy things as I'm waving goodbye So I'll spread out my wings and fly
Home is a boxcar and it's so far out of reach Hidden under umbrella beach
Home will always be here on scenery's side? Where I disappear and hide I think dreamy things as I'm waving goodbye So I'll spread out my wings and fly I'll spread out my wings and fly
Home is a boxcar and it's so far out of reach Hidden under umbrella beach

Its actually 'Home will always be here, unseen, outta sight." That just bothered me sorry.
I really love this song. I think its Adam talking about how he's always going to have Minnesota as his home. That one place he can escape to, and call his home. The one place that will be hidden, and hold inspiration. But he's going to aspire and try 'To spread out his wings and fly' in eagerness to take on new challenges and visit new places. (Like he's always wanted to visit the ocean=hence the title)

This, Sunburn, and Tidal Wave are the three sunniest, happiest songs by Owl City. ;D
