Guys, I'm new to this guild and I'm deeply disappointed... we have so few members, our homepage is... nothing, and not even everyone here stay alive... Ideas for improvement?

that IS what we are working on in fact we just shaved down 6 pages worth of members that don't talk here any more AT ALL
besides why would you make a "FLASHY" homepage? a banner or 2 might be nice but otherwise people might not know ware things are this is a good main page

Yes. We are working on it. Contest coming up. And yeah some new banners would be nice. I'll work on that or anyone who wants to can.
