Who here agree that Texas marching bands are tha shiz?? In tone quality and percussion!! though congrats to avon cause they rock too....

Weird you would say that, actually. We had a substitute in band twice last week who kept telling us we sounded like a texas band. then he would go on and on about Texas and how he "grew up with our bd", which our bd claims was a total lie, and we believe the bd,s icne this sub is about 50 years older then him.

Hell yeah Texas! Though I must admit we are kinda lacking in the Drum Corps department. Though the Crossmen aren't bad (not at all, I love them), Illinois seems to get all the luck as far as corps go...

Pshh... how could you leave out Oklahoma bands?
I know the state sucks in general, but so does Texas's. We're only good for our marching bands. razz
