WARNING: This is extremely perverted!(And looonnnggg) gonk
First I have to say that, if you don't get any of these stuff, you get offended in any way, or throw up because of this, I'm sorry. sweatdrop But this really is about band, so yeah... xp
So, anyways.... I'e been having this really weird substitute teacher for band this week. sweatdrop His name is Mr.Hanc0ck.(huahahahahah... c: ) At first when I heard giggles exchange across the room at the "last syllable", I thought, "that's stupid." But when he first came on Monday, I couldn't help but burst out laughing as soon as I walk out the band room. He says reaaaaaaaaaaallly perverted things, without even trying.
For example, the first thing he said on the first day he was there, was "When you blow on your instrument, you have to put your tounge right between the reed and the mouthpiece." The whole room exploded with laughter at this point. Then, when we all had to try it out, one person did it wrong, and he said:
"No, you have to put your tounge right in the hole. Don't let any air out!"
The next day, it was Tuesday. The second day he was here. The class was still all worked up from the previous day, still laughing, giggling, chattering. Even in the middle of class. And of course, Mr.Hanc0ck has to say, "If you guys are going to talk, then we aren't going to be able to play. Hmmm, I'll just have to eat my apple." Hearing that, it didn't help us quiet down. Poor Mr.Hanc0ck(hehehe rofl ). (Oh, and before class I heard him helping out with the perrcussion, saying "For the cymbal, you have to use the hard stick." xp )
The next day after that, we had some left over cupcakes from a bake sale. A person asked, "Hey, why are those cupcakes here?" Mr. Hanc0ck answered to the whole class, "Oh, if you guys are good today, then you can eat some of my cupcakes." heh. O__o In the middle of a song, he apparently heard that the band wasn't playing the accents right in the song. When he reminded us what they were, he worded it in a strange way. "With accents, you have to play to note loudly. That means you have to tounge it HARD."
It got EVEN worse on Thursday. When Mr.Hanc0ck( xp ...) clearly directed us get ready to play a song, he said: "Hey, I don't see enough horns to your faces!" (I heard a person mutter, "Espessally if you play the flute... ehehe."). When he heard a clairinet go wrong, Mr.Hanc0ck just had to say that "When you tounge a note, you say "ta ta ta," not "dic dic dic"." Going home on the bus, I sat next to one of my friends who has Mr.Hanc0ck at a different period, and SHE even said that Mr.Hanc0ck says weird things. She said that while listening to the Phantom of the Opera, a song that they were going to play, Mr.Hanc0ck said "Hm, that guy has a sexy voice." Surprized that Mr.Hanc0ck accually said something like that on purpose, I had to say to myself, "So he IS gay..." scream
At last it was Friday, the last day he was going to be here. I had to wake up to go to Jazz Band at 6:00 in the morning before school, and at least that went well. The next period for concert band, not as good. First I had to almost die of boredom for a Martin Luther King Day assembly. Then when I came back from that, all I wanted to do is sleep. And yes, Mr.Hanc0ck( xd ) said something once more. With only 10 minutes of band left, we all assumed that we weren't going to play any songs. But then we heard, "Okay everybody, take your instrments out so we can play a little, okay?". rolleyes It just never gets old. But of course I have to admit, I feel a little bad for our poor Mr.Hanc0ck. neutral

I felt really bad for oru substitute today. he was actually directing us because he is a former band director.
Well, he said "Flutes always blow when they finger. You do not have to blow when you finger." Then he couldn't figure out why we all started laughing. And then he kept saying "baton" weird, like "Bootoun" on purpuseXD

The image I get of Mr. Hancock is that fat guy from the movie Office Space. Th one who was fired 5 years prior, has the huge glasses that they move to the basement and his boss takes his stapler XP That guy, I see him when I think of the guy in your story, lol. I think that modern adults say thigns that kids today (including me lol) easily and quickly find an inuendo to, and the adults don't even know it >.< lol. Any one else agree?
