"I can easily drive her home myself," the cheetah Hyte offered. "There's no need to call Mena over and take her away from her work." As he had expressed earlier, he didn't think it was at all safe for her to be wandering about on her own. Even if Dacj was half Kraken, it wasn't worth gambling to bet that she'd be left alone. Besides, a short drive might be nice anyway; get out for a bit of fresh air.

Eli made a face as the call went to voicemail. "You might just have to--ugh, I don't know why Mom bothers to have a priority line if she never answers it," the kuppy said, shaking his head. "If you don't mind..."
"I'm sorry to be so much trouble," Dacj said, blinking.

"No trouble at all," Seth replied with a smile, grabbing his keys off the counter. "Let's get going then. Be back in a bit, Eli." With that said, the cheetah and kraken Hytes left the apartment and headed down to the car outside. It wouldn't be too long of a trip, and driving would certainly be much safer than traveling alone.
