well, as you all may or may not know, i've been working away the past few months at trying to finish a cosplay outfit for this here mule. now, i'm almost finished, but i figured i'd get some second opinions before i ask the favour i'm about to ask ^^U

so, who i'm trying to cosplay is Inoue Orihime from Bleach in the outfit she wears in this particular colour page. my efforts in tektek (with the occasional update with store updates over the course of these months) have culminated in this outfit:



i'd like suggestions, like alternate items (for instance, my avatar's currently wearing the skirt from Kottan Bell, but i'm considering using one of the tennis skirts), or other things. i'm not really expecting to win in the arena when i enter. i'm just trying to present something new; a recognizable character in a different outfit from the norm.

so to get to the favour; all i have left to get is the scarf, which is from Picolitrosso's Urn. i don't really want to bother saving up for said EI just for that scarf, because i don't really have an interest in using it for beyond this cosplay, and this cosplay only. so i'm asking to borrow it from someone for when i decide to enter in the arena (probably not for another week). i do have an item for collateral, though it's not quite as valuable as the cheapest generation (it has sentimental value however, so i'm definately going to come back for it), but i'm not saying what it is until we've both agreed on things. precautionary measures sweatdrop it's not that i don't trust you guys, i'm just trying to make sure we all know we're not going to get burned. if no one's willing to let me borrow it, that's fine; i'm just trying to save myself some time and effort, especially since if i end up saving up for it, i'll end up selling it when i'm done.

That looks really good! I don't have an urn, or I'd definitely help you. (I rarely buy the EIs after getting burned with the Experiment...piece of crap... razz )

Might I suggest, if you can't find an Urn to use, looking through the store scarves? You might be surprised what you can find. Or even some other EI or MC that you might have access to. It's likely you've already considered this, but it can work in a bind.

Finally, I suggest Hiyono Yuizaki for your next cosplay. :3

anyway, new question! for those who have gone into the Avatar Arena, do you submit your avatar a week in advance, or the week you want to enter? because i decided i'd enter the week of Valentine's Day (next week), and i'm not sure i fully understand the submission thing >.<
