GWWF Match Footage
The footage begins with Angel being struck yet again by Andrew, and he hobbled back a few steps. This time the pain was much more intense causing Angel to draw up and attempt a vicious right hand to Andrew's skull, looking to end this back and forth offense and put Andrew onto the concrete floor below. Andrew had planned on blocking a chest chop. He was completely caught off guard when he was socked in the head causing him to stumble back and tumble into kneeling position against the guard rail before dropping to a bent over position on the floor. Angel seeing an opening, charged at Andrew and tried to hit him with his patented Shining Wizard that he called The Moonlight Express. Andrew sat up just in time to get rocked by a vicious shining wizard. The referee's count was at 6 as Matthews fell sideways to the padded floor with a smack. Angel has vicious intent in his eyes as he slides in and out of the ring, resetting the count. He lifted the ring apron looking for a weapon under the stage and after a few seconds of searching, finds one in the form of a steel chair. He turns to face Andrew as the referee reaches a count of 3. Andrew was trying to get to his feet when Angel pulled out the steel chair. He gripped the guard rail and pulled himself up to his knees. His face was pressed up against the guard rail, his back to Angel. As the count reached 5, Angel drew the chair backward aiming to swing it with tremendous force targeting Andrew's lower back.Andrew let out a sharp yell as he arched his back and flopped backwards onto the ground like a fish. ~Upon the chair shot connecting, the referee immediately called for the bell, disqualifying Angel on the spot
Announcer- Here is your winner by disqualification....Andrew Matthews!!!!
At this point Angel could have cared less about the match as he attempted to wrap the steel chair around Andrew's left ankle. Andrew's vision was blurry and his back was in so much pain that he couldn't even feel the chair being wrapped around his leg. He was just hoping to gather his composure in time...But the chairshot was all too perfectly placed for that. Angel then turned to the steel steps, lifting the top two off of the base. Using all the strength he had in his legs, Angel attempted to lift the steel steps and smash them into the steel chair wrapped around Andrew's leg. The steel steps came down menacingly on the steel chair as everyone near them shouted 'OOOH' as the sounds of tearing muscle lit up the arena. Andrew shouted in pain as he spun around on the floor, snatching his leg from the steel chair. He clutched it near his chest as the referee came over and tried to confront Angel and make him leave. As the ref got in Angel's face he looked down at what he had done...and smiled. This was a side of Angel that no one had ever seen before. The referee tried desperately to hold Angel back as the paramedics rushed to ringside to try and get Matthews some much needed medical attention. "ANGEL!" Andrew shouted. "I'll get you...F-For this..." He seethed as the medical staff gathered around him.
"N-NO!" He screamed at the staff, he wasn't going to give Angel the satisfaction of leaving on a stretcher. In the end, The security had to come down as two members got under each of Matthews arms while another supported his leg--Well to be honest, they didn't bring a stretcher...And the whole phrase was "N-NO! YOU IDIOTS!"
He was fighting back strings of choice words as he was helped backstage in what seemed like WW2 fashion...But it hurt like crap.
Once he was backstage, they had to lay him down on a bench in the locker room as they tried to attend to the damaged ligaments in his leg. It was really bad...And no one knew when the Ambulance would arrive.Andrew was certainly going to need a stretcher when the ambulance arrived, as Angel came tearing into the locker room looking to smash Andrew's head against a locker with a vicious double axe handle. Andrew wanted to pass out from the pain when his head was rocked with a double axe handle to the head, busting the back of his head open in the process, the medical staff shouted for security to come and restrain Angel as Andrew passed out from the loss of blood which was dripping onto the metal bench. The camera was forced to cut the feed as the blood splattered on the locker and shouts of cursing from the medical staff would leave them open from a legal standpoint. Angel then looked into the camera...ordering them to turn it back on as he was hoping to send a message directly to Codi Paige, whom not an hour ago told Angel that he was not 'World Champion material'. "You still feel the same way about me you pompous b***h? Take a good look at good old Andrew here..." Angel then grabs the lens of the camera and jerks it tword the bloody mess that is Andrew "...it's a real shame to, he was such a promising young talent. You see this is how it is going to work. every week, whoever you book me against...whether it be Andrew, or anyone else...is going to get hurt. Wait, maybe hurt isn't the correct word. I would go with something more along the lines of maimed. Just remember what I told you. Help me, help you. I'll see you next week."
