Putting together a pack!! Feel free to pm me/post here if you wish to join! We still need the council members, and the other rank members. Pack Name: Ryuudan (Stray Bullet)
Pack Council: Spirit NagisaKaoru Baelus Dokutta Menelwen
Pack Territory:They make their home in an old dried up sewage drain beneath a large underpass. Their 'territory' Extends from the baker's square, to the edge of the playground. Their home within the sewer's support's quite a few escape routes, and hidey holes. Also dry dens, for those rare times when the other areas do flood and their underpass fills up with rain.
Other Pack Members: 5+ Mainly Strays (Never pets, though the occasional wild is accepted)
(Though typically friendly towards cats/other familiars)
Pack Culture:
The abandoned, lost, and forsaken, a group of varying strays with no apparent leader guiding their actions. They've managed to piece together a way to coexist among one another and survive within the concrete walls and tall buildings of the inner city. The riffraff bunch require no ties of loyalty, no honor, no great moral code. The restraints of survival enough to keep them bound and dependent on one another.
To keep some semblance of order amongst the mixed group of thieves, they keep a council. A small central group of dogs amongst the pack who's main focus is to ensure the health and survival of the others. Keep everyone busy, everyone with a task so that no other amongst them goes uncared for. To also keep themselves from self destructing, as fights among members, and thievery from outsiders is so common..

Pack Ranking System:
Council: The core members, just another if slightly larger cog in the broken machine that is Ryuudan. The council is in charge of keeping some semblance of order, and making sure the others do their share. They are not necessarily alphas though and cannot truly order anyone to do anything, nor can they be ordered by others. There just the few who were chosen by the rest of the group to help represent whichever minority chose them.
The council is made up of 4 parts: The Blade,The Shield, The cloak, and the Armor. If ever there is a fifth council member, he/she is considered the Justice. They all tend to balance and watch each other.
Justice: The neutral party who can tip the arguments/decisions of the four one way or another.
The Blade: The aggressor, in charge of any offensive movements of the group. Whether they steal or hunt, fight or run. He helps to deal with larger problems as well...dog catchers...unwelcome strays.
The Cloak: He oversees all the comings and going's of the member's, often works in the shadow's and spies about. Always on the look out for those who don't belong amongst them, or for the next big prize that might boost them just a bit higher. He's always watching his pack's back. He also deals with the bodies and spirits of those who don't make it..
The Armor: The body, and the life, in charge of welcoming in newer members, new pup births, etc. In charge also of rationing things out, making sure all things try to stay equal, and keep them from stealing from themselves. Survival is the armors ultimate goal though.
The Shield: In charge of the defense's, and the state of their den, the guardians, and the safety of the others. Always looking out for the ultimate well being and protection of their pack, no matter the cost. Is often at the den site, and very busy.
Other Ranks:
Guardians: - They work under the shield, and help to maintain the order and safety within the den, and also outside it. They are the shields eyes and ears, pads and paws. (3-5)
Warriors: - They work under the sword, hunters, fighters, claws and fangs, full of bad attitude, and foul tempers. (Unlimited)
Rags: - The cloaks tatters, they work directly alongside him, often scouting or reporting disturbances, losses, possible 'prize' targets. Sly and lithe, not always liked, but always needed. (3-5)
Scales: - They work alongside the armor. The armor's guard, keeping up spirits and moral, doing any and all odd jobs required, as well as searching out new members. At time's may tag along with guardians, or warriors. (Unlimited)
Patches:(Aka,Non-Rank): - Basically, Den mothers, pups, etc. Dogs who are part of the pack but don't specifically have a rank or aren't required/expected by any of the others to do anything. They meander in and out, are free to come and go as they please. So long as they don't cause to much of a disturbance.

Somethin to consider -
Council members will be expected to be rp active 'at least some!' If you cant be active, then you will either be asked to step down as a council member and take up another rank.
Or, if your going to be absent for a long time (Leme know!) one of the rag/warior/guard.etc. Whichever council position you hold, one of the underlings will fill it for you temporarily until your return.
Any member of the pack can challenge a council member for there position. That doesn't necessarily mean 'whoever win's the fight win's the spot' It doesn't mean that you need to fight for the spot either -but if you wanna for entertainment purposes-
Because in the end it's up to the rest of the pack. If they think mc.barker is better then mr.woofs then mc.barker will get the spot, whether he/she is qualified for it or not, its all up to the others.
Also, council members can step down on their own/retire from their position. Usually when this happens they pick one their guardians/warriors/rags, whoever worked under them to fill the spot in their place.
