Its not the matter of seeing us, its the matter of him wanting to meet us, then suddenly deciding not to due to knoledge that he would not have. Then the subsequent waste of our attacks and equipment due to false information provided by him.

Following him would prove difficult considering I tore out the stairs which he should have been standing on. And now you tell us that what he ment to say would have worked, dishonest role playing. I'd like my money back to echo what I've said else where. No offense to you Opaj, but you have to put a leash on those beneath you and allowing them free reign to do as what they did here is clearly a waste of my time and anyone else that encounters it. Brennsa has ruined the rping experiance we where having and wasted what limited time this first event lasts as we thought resolution. And now you tell us to just forget it, I'm sorry, that's something we just can not do. I wish the rest of you the best of luck. To anyone unsatisfied contact me or any other member of Knights of Fortune, we plot something which may interest you. And no, it's nothing bad like revenge upon those who run this.

If he hadn't wasted a full hour or so of our time for that decision to come up, it would have been fine with me, and likely with most of my time, though I'll admit Impact has been more or less looking for trouble everywhere since we joined. I do think that how much time we lost to this is unfair though, and the issue of our chances being cut to nil because we waited for a judgement and pointed out his errors to him, not to mention 'didn't see him' if he was decided to be at the bottom of the stairs as he claimed. The issue is that this was handled horribly and the contest is more or less over for us beceause of it. I believe he should not have used sonar if he didn't know what it did, and I agree this would not have been a major issue- if it had been handled reasonably. That is the issue, and that you cannot ignore. We've been cheated out of a half of part one by his ignorance and his ignoring us.

As a general consensus, my team has decided we will no longer be taking part in this competition as we feel that is an unfair test of roleplaying abilities. We wish to have our entrance fees refunded. I can see where this may be difficult for Opaj, so I'm not going to insist. However, I do feel that it would be only fair as I have just wasted 3 and a half hours of my time.
I wish you all the best.

Honestly, I can see it both ways right now. The possible unstated IC thoughts going through everyone's heads are endless. Ultimately, I'd have to say that both sides were far too influenced by information received OOC. Both sides.
Unfortunately, I can't give you your time back, and Brennsa only plays a robot for less than 15 more minutes anyway. I can say that the attack never happened, sparing you your ammo, and I can start off tomorrow with you and Macro 3 facing off, right away.
Otherwise, the important thing to remember is this: this is a high-paced, short-time RP. It's better to just go with something and move on than spend an hour (although it is understandable, since judges did't seem to be watching the judging thread at the time) arguing over it.
Hrm, I should take this over to the other thread now.

OOC info? We had a man on the roof spot Brennsa and radio it to us, never once did we make use of OOC infomation, we used what we knew and employed it in an effective way which would work had Brennsa been logical. And now I find from your PM to him that you said he could tell where everything was, violating your own rules for characters I'll add, and call is sonar when sonar doesn't even operate on that principle. So we find that you didn't research your technology clearly either despite organising the event. I don't want to offend you as you had so many things to juggle all at once, but sometimes things go too far. We can not except your offer. We would like our money back.

Yes, yes. I'll sort it all out now.
Game paused for today. Come back tomorrow, those who still want to play.

I would like to apologize for the issue. I am not happy with it, but I agree that this has been blown out of proportion. Also, please note that we are used to roleplaying in smaller enviorments which move slower and are extremely heavy on assuring fairness and often even a improper interpretation will bring about a discussion, usually civil... and then likely an editing of one or both of the posts, and continuation. This has been a highstress situation for everyone I'm sure, but our team as completely new to this sort of events or rp'ing done it quick speed, along with our characters being weaker than the others not in level but simply by prospect as we are used to lower power rp's, were heavy on planning. Also, Impact has been sort of looking for a reason to blow up for a while, starting back with the decision on technologically advanced weapons and the higher power setting of the campaign. I believe that the only real thing to exist which should have been made an issue was the utter inefficiency we faced in trying to resolve this. You understand that Impact would have been angry no matter what, but the rest of us would likely have calmed him and continued if Brennsa had taken a shorter time to respond to us instead of, so far as we could tell, ignoring us until a good portion of the contest had wittled away and a judges attention forced him to adress it. This may have been as much because pm's were down and I could not reach him quickly as anything, but you can see how it simply looks bad from our perspective of it.
At this time Skull_Rose and I are the only members of our team who wish to continue in part two. We are looking for more team members. Anyone interested please pm me for the request of joining us, and with any and all details you may want on us or this.
As to the offer of rematch, I'm a bit confused as to what is going on right now in this contest, and I do not know what direction it's heading as I've missed much of what has happened and what we are to do next, but should Rose and I find more team mates for the rest, and may be open to this if we should decide too continue with it and find a few more team members.
