Stealing music is bad, mmkay, but if you're offered a free MP3 or two, it's okay to politely accept. Here's a handful of places you can find free tunes:

arrow The iTunes Store has a Free On iTunes page with a small selection of rotating music and videos. Look for it at the bottom of the main iTunes Store page.

arrow Amazon's free weekly downloads page is awesome. Go to Amazon.com/MP3 and look in the Browse MP3s sidebar for Free Songs & Special Deals. Or just navigate to http://bit.ly/4zDiqR and use the genre-selectors in the sidebar to narrow the search results.

arrow Last.fm, in addition to its excellent free streaming, offers free MP3 downloads at www.last.fm/music/+free-music-downloads .

arrow insound.com has a page of free MP3s at www.insound.com/mp3/mp3s.php . The site specializes in indie rock and also sells MP3s, CDs vinyl, and band merchandise.

arrow A-M Classical (www.amclassical.com) offers free classical music tracks.

I knew about the iTunes store, but I didn't know about the others. I should check those out.

Yeah, they didn't have the newest Smile Empty Soul album until about five months after release, at which point I'd already said ******** it and gotten it from my friend who's friend in the States sent it to him.

Works the same way here in the states. My Girlfriend likes the ending theme to Stardust but since the band that made it are from the UK we won't see till mid-June they said. AND that movie is OLD. It's laughable how they have to still boarder up music like this when everything is digital now. FTC and other government laws should ******** change this s**t as we are no longer bound by traditional means of commerce. My Girl and I should be able to download any band, artist, movie from ANYWHERE.

You sir are preaching to the choir here. In fact I bold the bullshit as it's the most important point here.
