Dear Fashun;
Let's discuss color :3 What colors do you like to dress yourself in? What colors do you totally avoid? What color do you wish there was more of, etc etc.
Personally, I wish there was more teal that matched the other teal. I have a Prince Patchouli item, and I can't wear the hat because it matches absolutely nothing on Gaia :3 Noel's Gift and the Journal EI helped, but there's so little teal that really.... matches.
Love working with black and white. There's so much of it. Red and blue are fun, too. I'd work with pink more if there were some totally awesome pink items, but most of them are pretty girly.
What items do you have that you can't use because they just don't go with anything else color-wise?

I try to work with all the colors but I end up doing black, white, red the most :p
Oddly I noticed most of the avatars I've submitted to the arena seem to be pink or purple. Even though I try to rotate colors all the time I guess I must like my pink/purple avatars best or something.
If I notice I haven't used a color in a while I try to make an avatar around it. Or I pick an item I have but never use and try to match that.
Lately I've been doing a lot with pink though and I really need to move to a new color.
I agree completely about the Prince Patchouli. I saved up to buy one because I thought it was super cute but now I can't even make a nice outfit with it. Every time I try it ends up a mess.

The gothic veil needs more dark purple/blue to match it. Every avatar I see that actually matches it uses the same items since there are so few. It'd be such a great item.

I like pretty much any color scheme as long as it matches. I never seem to use purple, though. My most common colors are blue, pink, an red.

I don't have very many reds, yellows, oranges, or greens, so I usually avoid those when I make a matching avatar

hated item: Nightfall Soiree... i just love the dress but hate the fact i can't seem to wear it that much =.=
i basically like all colors for making avatars... black and white seems to domain my inventory though.
i like white and black avies but hate how some whites on gaia are purpulish, othes graysh, others bluish and others yellowish.... same with blacks, the are just too diferent -.- but you have to deal whit it sometimes.

I think I use most any color fairly regularly, with my favorites being blue, black, white, and brown. I tend to not make all that many bright yellow or pink avatars.
As for an nonmatchy items.... Hm. The majority of Inari's Beads frustrate me. I don't know if it's just how they're shaded that makes them hard to use, or if it's that orangeybrown in them.

 My colors, light blue, black and red. Its so rare that I don't use these colors. They are mine damnit! mad heart However I don't use purple. The odd thing is back in 2003 my main account (which was male) was themed with the color purple. But now....ugh, keep it away from my avatar.

I love to work with basic colors combined with black and white
I'm not good at off colors (like a sky blue color, or a light pink)
But I wish there was more purple.
It's my favorite color...

i use mostle black and white, with another color added, but it seems like never purple cause so few of them match eachother.... i got rid of my dander because that was my issue. it was a great item, some good poses, but it matched NOTHING i owned or was thinking about buying, i wasting going to buy a whole outfit just to keep that cute tutu

Ai, ai. So many good items that we can't use if we want things to match.
It's like the... Err, what's it called.... Gothic Butterfly? The purple butterfly MC. I've only managed to match the obi pose once, and it was difficult to do D;
