lakeisha_therese I'd say at 82 she's lucky to have survived that ordeal... I'm glad that she's healing though. Well, they would never have operated if she wasn't as healthy as she was - she ate well, exercised and kept herself occupied to keep her mind active (we'd have wordfind races xd ). She's quite good today, tired but happy and looking forward to going home. entervixen I'm glad to hear your grandmother caught it in time, Caustic. It was really scary when my grandmother found out she needed a stint put in because her arteries were 99% clogged. And she always eats so healthy, and exercises and everything. It was very surprising. Same, my grandmother had to have two stints put in prior to this operation and she's more active and eats better than my dad (her eldest son)!

lakeisha_therese To me the craft means living in harmony with all things, and working toward the good of all. And like a previous poster, I don't do good things just to get good back. Actually now that I think about it the thought of it possibly causing some positive energy coming back my way doesn't cross my mind. I just love seeing the look on someone's face when you do something to make them happy. blaugh Thats beautiful.

lakeisha_therese iKillCaustic--uKillMe Recovery will be a long and slow process though... She is recovering though. Oh yes, she was moved to another new ward today and even though she needs to get her bathroom reconfigured to allow easier mobility she's already planning on turning the old bathtub into a fish pond - she can't wait to get out and about. When she's not sleeping she's scheming... mrgreen

When she gets sick she will lay around the house, just like anyone else would...however, you KNOW when she is feeling better...one room in the house winds up being spotless, the kitchen seems to be her favorite target.
