Here's a little dumping ground for all the tech I've created for various RP's.

If you want to use some of my tech feel free. Just put some sort of recognition to this thread.

If you want to add something PM with the skeleton filled out and I'll add you to the contributor list.

Also, I and any of the contributors don't own any of the included pictures.

Now enjoy reading.

Nickname: kiwis
Ammunition: 30mm HEAPT Rounds (High Explosive Armour Piercing Tracer)
RPM: 6000
Effective Range: 800m
Description: A 30mm Gatling gun, the CIWS is designed to shoot down incoming missiles as well as any targets that enter its threat range. Each turret is independently targeted and are almost completely standalone from the main Fire Control System.
Amount on Ship: 20
Position: 5 on each side of the ship spread out evenly along the length of the ship
Designation: Primary
Other Info: The CIWS turret also serves as the mounting for the PDL (see below)
Designer Notes: Hybrid of the GAU-8 Avenger cannon on the A-10 Thunderbird and the Phalanx Naval CIWS. Inspiration from the Igelstellung in the Gundam universe

Official Name: Mk. III Point Defence Laser
Operations Name: PDL
Nickname: flashlight
Ammunition: laser
RPM: n/a (effectively infinite)
Effective Range: ~50m dependant on conditions
Description: Basically a extension of the CIWS the PDL is designed to shoot down anything that gets past the CIWS. As the PDL travels at the speed of light it is usually used to shoot down hypersonic missile and other super high speed weapons however it still perfectly capable of destroying low speed targets as well
Amount on Ship: 20
Position: same a CIWS
Designation: Secondary
Other Info: Called 'flashlights' as they lack any power at range
Designer Notes: Based off the PDL in the Andromeda Universe and to a lesser extent on the missile defence system for aircraft that's currently in development by DARPA

Official Name: Mk. IV 'KnightWatch' Railcannon

Armour

Official Name: Mk. II "Aegis" Variable Reactivity Composite Laminate Impact Dispersal Armour
Operations Name:Armour
Nickname: none
Description: The "Aegis" Pattern armour consists of layers of a solid laminate composite with liquid layers designed to spread out impacts and reduce the heat from lasers. The armour is backed up with a liquid nitrogen cooling system to lower the damage from heat weapons (laser, plasma etc.) as well as a temporary breach repair system. The true strength of the armour is only evident when it's electronically activated. This turns every inch of the armour in to highly reactive explosive armour capable of surviving a multi-gigaton nuclear barrage; however the armour reacts to every attack the same way causing a massive explosion weather it's hit by a bullet or a nuke. Furthermore after the armour is detonated is only provides as much protection as standard steel plating.
Other Info:The armour is in hexagonal plates for easy replacement.
Designer Notes:Based of composite armour and ERA armour used on tanks

The Black King

User Image

Builder: Seraph Industries Skunkworks
Homeport: Ganymede Station
Motto: Si vis Pacem, Para bellum ('If you want peace, Prepare for War')
Class and Type: Self-Sufficient Britannia Class Carrier Warship
Power: 2 1000 MW CANDU 14 Nuclear Reactors
Speed: 750km/h Cruse ~1500km/h Max (atmospheric)
Complement: 150 including fighter detachment
Fighter Capacity: 20 Internal + 4 Outboard

Additional Craft4 Drop-ships, 4 Atmospheric Heavy Lift Helicopters, 4 Ground IFV
History: The Black King first started as a carrier ship using a modular design and production began before most of the plans were completed. However during construction pirate attacks hit an all time high. At this time most transport ships required either heavy weapons that took up valuable space or mercenaries that cost precious money. This is when the design of the Black King changed. Production was taken over by the skunk-works division of the company and the design of the Black King was overhauled. It became a mobile fortress designed to defend a large number of smaller tankers as well as transport a hefty load itself.

One Man, One Army: The Black King was designed with a unique paradigm; The entire ship can be operated by one person. When the system is activated the majority of the Black King's systems are automated and only the essential user input systems are routed to the captains chair. However this paradigm is only used in the most dire of circumstances as no person can physically manage all the systems effectively.

Mobile Suits

User Image
Model: RSSX-315 Spectre
Class: Commander
Paradigm:Long Range Reconnaissance & Support
Producer: White City Mech Skunkworks Inc.
Accommodation: pilot and co-pilot, in variable cockpit in torso
Weight: empty 78.5 metric tons
Armour: Laminate composite with ECS "mirage" sublayer and LN cooling
Powerplant: Wind STARS Generator with fusion battery backup
Equipment and Design Features: "Mirage" Large Band EMF Stealth Armour; Standard, Sniping and Overwatch Sensors
Optional Equipment: 4 Sensor UAVs
Fixed Armaments: 2 Twin Linked "Truelight" Head Mounted CIWS, 2 hip stored armour knives, 1 "Axel" CQC Shotgun (stored folded on rear hip)
Optional Armament: 1 Mk. 103 "Freedom Fighter" RailSniper, 1 150mm "Iroquois" Fire Support Howitzer
History: The Spectre was originally designed as to be a mass produced warrior lever sniper mech but due to cost problems the mech was re-designed as a commander level mech. A scale down version was eventually designed for warriors but the original "Spectre" remain the strongest of the type. The Spectre represents a new paradigm for mecha design as it forgoes the thick dragon-skin armour for a more high tech solution: complete stealth. The Mirage system is lighter tan the dragon plate and because of that it allows for more weapons and ammo to be carried by it's user. The one problem with the system is it lacks defensive strength, even with new composite armour a mecha can only take so much-before folding.

Optional Equipment: 2 Sensor/Combat UAVs each armed with 1 "Truelight" CIWS, Type 00 Low Altitude Booster
Fixed Armaments Upright: 2 Twin Linked "Truelight" CIWS (twin-linked in head), 2 "Damascus" Beam Sabres (stored in hip), 2 Armour Knives (stored in calves)
Fixed Armaments Quadruped: 4 "Griffin" CIWS (mounted in head), 2 "Excalibur" Beam Blades (whiskers)
Optional Armament: Mk. 107 "Rebellion" Custom RailSniper (hand carried while upright, mounted on back in quadruped), 1 100mm "Longbow" Rifle
History: The Spectre II "Eidolon" represents the pinnacle of stealth sniping technology. Designed as an upgrade for the old Spectre; it possess the latest advancements in both the stealth and close combat technology. Like the Spectre it forgoes Dragon Plate for Laminate Composite but unlike the Spectre the Eidolon uses Ceramic-Laminate instead of the old metal laminate. One critical design feature of the Eidolon is its ability to transform into a mode. This lets the Eidolon move faster than it's bipedal form but critically for the Spectre series the quadrupedal mode proves a more controllable sniping platform; allowing for more precise longer range shots. Due to a forced production schedule beam weapons had to be used for melee even though their usage interferes with the 'Phantasm' system
