Marine Transport

The Marines primary purpose within the Manokan military forces is to exploit the ability of rapid deployment from all the different types of technological advances present. Intended to provide long range and immediate force projection, Marines are typically the first units in an engagement, and the last ones out (excluding Special Operations units). The Marines, as hinted by their names, were originally sea driven infantry, present on naval ships who fought both naval units, and ground units through the transportation of the largest vessels of the era. Because of the introduction of both motor vehicles and airborne vehicles, it is now possible for a Marine to enter an area through alternate styles of combat transportation. Although the capabilities and abilities of the Marines have changed, their primary objective has not. The marines are to infiltrate, enter, and invade any area first, often starting the first assault in an area. Gathering reconnaissance, clearing a path for a larger unit of ground troops, and fighting non-conventional forms of warfare, the Marines are designed to enter an area where high mobility and transport are essential, and also to enter the area first. Being capable of rapidly deploying a large amount of units, the Marines must be well trained, well equipped, and versatile in order to start the first series of troops into an area.
