When you got your tattoo, how did you keep water off it during showers?
I am getting tattoos on the insides of my wrists and I want to knoooow.

Oh s**t we were supposed to keep water off of it? sweatdrop
I just didn't shower for a day or two but by then it was pretty much healed, since mine was so small. But I let some water run onto it, aaand pretty much just tried not to get soap on it. Didn't scrub it or anything for quite a while.
I also applied a ton of antibacterial stuff to it, and A&D ointment. Maybe just slather on a layer of that before you shower? That'd repel water. :B

When I got mine, he told me to keep excess water off it, wash twice a day with antibacterial soap and keep it slathered with A&D or regular bacitration.
True enough. I didn't even really give it thought. I just figured I'd ask. lol

I didn't even really wash it with antibacterial soap because we have to use unscented and I didn't have any. :[ But srsly mine's so small it was pretty much healed by the time I got home.

Probably next week on Monday or Tuesday and I won't tell anyone and then be like OH HEY TATS!
It's good because I'm off work that week and I can have a nice chance to let them heal up.

Some candy thing I got for Christmas. It's not nearly as good as the German variant of it. Basically a stick of chocolate surrounded by.. something. Like. A light flaky cookie wrap.
And Xippy that is awesome. O: A friend of mine is considering getting the Mastodon symbols in the same places.
