In the mid day of the day another broadcast went out all over the world on radios, Televisions and anything that could take in a signal.
"Greetings, Heroes of Earth!" said Berg in his usual tone, "It is clear from yesterdays... Event over East City that your kind does not want me here. Perhaps that could be changed? I invite you all to my Palace Ship in East City. Do not worry about being attacked my friends. I have ordered all of my guards to stand down for the moment as well as telling my Head Guard not to attack you. Please accept my invitation." he finished rather politely.
[Yamcha weren't you dead? How did you get wished back with out the dragonballs?]

EgyptianGoddessofDeath ChiChi sighed softly in her sleep and smiled. She was having a very....Pleasant dream. She snuggled closer to Goku feeling him touch her hair. Her beautiful black eyes slowly opened expecting to see an empty bed but to her surprise she saw her love next to her. She snuggled closer. "Good morning my love." She said gently. She looked up at him and kissed his nose.
Goku sat there chewing this all over in his mind while Chichi lay relaxed and happy that he was there with her. But he couldn't stay any longer he had no choice the Earth needed him and he wasn't about to let them down. So he got up showered quickly and got dressed. He walked over to the bed and looked at those dark eyes he loved so much. " I'm sorry Chichi to always do this to you....but....duty calls....I must go." He smiled weakly and leaned over and gave Chichi a very passionate kiss. He took in the beauty of the moment for a second after the kiss was done. Then he stepped back waved goodbye to Chichi and was at kami's lookout by Chichi's next blink.

ChiChi smiled weakly at her husband as she knew he needed to leave. She kissed him back with just as much passion. "I understand my love....Just come back to me." She said softly before he left. Once she was gone she felt empty.
If it was up to her she would be with him everyday, but sadly it wasn't. She didn't complain too much about him being gone, but there were times were she broke down and cried.....Like right now. She knew it would be no good to cry for long so she sucked it up and went about her daily chores.

ChiChi sighed gently. Damn it. She needed to get her mind off of Goku leaving again. He always did this....Why should now be any different?
That when she heard it. She heard the radio announcement. So thats where her husband was going. She wouldn't let him get away with it! She dropped her broom and stormed out of the house in her usual garb. She would reach this palace and stop her husband from being a protector for one day!
She jumped into her car and was off to Berg's ship.

Broly had appeared at the home of Goku's, landing with a powerful thud near the front of the house.

ChiChi arrived home after a long ride from Berg's ship. She ran straight into her house not noticing Broly and cried. She went into her room and flopped on the pillows. She didn't mean to mess things up....but....She just wanted him home....She sobbed herself to sleep.

Goku upon arriving saw Chichi burst into the home in tears. Goku turned to Broly and said "Why don't you come inside and make yourself at home Broly? Chichi will come around soon enough and then she'll cook us up something delicious and we can talk about the plan. But first I'm going to go talk to her feel free to lay down on the couch and watch some tv. I will be right back." Goku quickly turned on the tv and left the remote to Broly and left to go see chichi. Since Chichi nor Goku used the living room tv very much the channel was still set to cartoons as Goten had left it. So Broly was left to watch tom and jerry.
Goku walked over to Chichi and started to gently rub her back. "Chichi please don't cry. You know I can't bear to see you like this. please chichi. there there." Goku said as he continued to rub her back in comfort.

ChiChi sniffled "I…I just want you home for once Goku!....Why do you have to play the hero all the time?....I don’t want you to go!” She said sitting up and burying her head into his chest.

Broly sat bluntly on the couch looking at the cartoon cat and mouse try to trick each other, while Goku helped Chichi calm down. He grew tired of watching the nonsense rather quickly as he started pressing buttons on the remote..
"Rrrggh...."

A Week had past and there had been no word from the Heroes that had challenged the Emperor to a Tournament. The ruler simply waited relaxing in that week. When the final day approached he put out a world wide message. Every thing from Television to Radio had Bergs Message.
"Attention Citizens of Earth... With in the past week It seems that you have grown comfortable with my presence you know that all I want from All of you is your Allegiance to the Icejin Empire. A week ago your ... Champions of 'Peace' came to my Ship and laid down their gauntlet. I did not refuse their challenge. Tomorrow a Colosseum ship will be landing not too far away from the City. All of the people from East City may attend the fight rest assured that you will be protected in the Stands. Also for those farther away the fight will be Publicized there shall be announcers for your Television and Radio systems. Now Rest easy Citizens.......... Tomorrow shall be a busy day."
