But my avatar was saved and the skin is gone.
Sorry you guys. I do hope that we get the item back though. It definitely isn't fair.

I doubt Gaia will do anything, but there's room for hope.

I too doubt that Gaia will do anything. They have well proven that they have sold out and became rather money grubbing. Most of the nice and cool items you have to buy with cash. Anything for the holidays big surprise you buy with cash. Wow they got an aquarium whom I petitioned for... Oh what a surprise they expect you to buy everything with cash.
IT goes on and on and on. People actually spend money on the aquarium thus the nerfed the boody grab making the fish you pay for worth less. Big surprise no.
So sadly no I don't expect them to give a rats a** for how we feel or think.
My sentiments. For the most part I've gone to another website kinda like Gaia. No jerk staff there mind you. Though its stil beta... we will see.

Really? That's an interesting theory....what makes you say that? o.O
There is always a possibility that Gaia will do a server reset or some bull like that and we will all loose our skins...I'm waiting for it.....they won't care how long we've held on to them....I doubt they even notices us running around with them still on......but if they do I am suprised that they have let us keep them this long....after all its a fluke that we are even able to I think....I don't think they realized that people would catch on that not changing your avatar lets you keep the skin virtually forever....or maybe they just thought people wouldn't have that much will power....all I have to say is Thank GODDESS for Mules!!!!!

well, maybe that theory comes from the trend of them releasing old skins from other halloweens to be purchased. honestly, it wouldn't surprise me either way.
i was kind of thinking that we should organize a "march" in a forum like the 'chatterbox.' it would be people from our guild, and i guess whoever was looking through the forums at the time to bring attention to the desire to keep the skin. it could be on like a 6 month anniversary or something. though, it would be risky. asking for attention is always a double-edged sword.

I really don't understand why everyone is saying that it's unfair. We knew what was at stake, and we lost. Would you be saying that it was unfair to S.I.N. members if they had lost? Though some of you might agree with those hypotheical users, I honestly doubt that anyone here would say it without the prompting of S.I.N. members. I understand why everyone wants to be able to equip it at will, but really, if you could, would you? Look at the S.I.N. members, though they can equip the skins at will, it's relatively uncommon to see an avatar using them. The fact that we lost makes our skins precious, and I think that we should learn to appreciate that. I can understand the "it's unfair" sentiment that was around shortly after the Halloween event, but I think it's time for us to move on, because it was fair, and I think that this guild would have much more meaning if the focus is not on attempting to get the skins returned to us.

well, i didn't say anything about fairness. rules are rules. i'm just surprised they didn't release both skins to be available for purchase or something. but i would wear mine. not all of the time though. ah, that would be nice. or to atleast try different ways of wearing the skin. yes, that would be nice too. when i look through the forums for new members, i'll see avatars that i think would look so much better with a boo skin. then sometimes i look at my avatar and think 'gee, this isn't pretty at all.' but i do understand where you are coming from, and i do think that, that mentality has been lessening over the time since the event

This is the Solipsist's favorite post in quite some time around here.
