About Miles

1. What do you know about this character now that s/he doesn’t yet know?
Tough one!
Miles is usually very self-aware, so not very much! He knows that he's talented, he knows that he's a huge fake, he knows he's got a thing for Kyrin (although he chooses to ignore it), and he knows that his self-destructive patterns will probably end in an early death.
I would say that something he doesn't know is that, although experienced, he hasn't even scratched the surface on what it really means to live; he'll get there someday.

2. What is this character’s greatest flaw?
His insecure need to prove himself.

3. What do you know about this character that s/he would never admit?
That he is simultaneously jealous and admiring of Jaydn; That he values Maddox's work ethic and smarts; that Xavier's pranks remind him too much of his brother when he was younger. Everything else is pretty up in the air.

4. What is this character’s greatest asset?
Miles was very lucky to have a face that opens doors, but he would be nothing without his quick wits. Miles worked his way up from poverty and through smarts alone. His work ethic was something he was raised with and expanded on, although he doesn't quite know how to just relax anymore.

5. If this character could choose a different identity, who would s/he be?
I would say Jaydn, but he wouldn't know quite what to do with that much power as he is now. If he could start over, he'd probably move very far away, cutting off ties with everyone, and work his way to the top of some company again (It's like leveling up in a video game for him. lol).

6. What music does this character sing to when no one else is around?
I can't really imagine Miles singing. He is not a great appreciator of the arts, and mostly ignores music as background noise. (different story when he was a kid though)

7. In what or whom does this character have the greatest faith?
As an egocentric, definitely himself.
He thinks Jaydn and Ky have a lot of potential, but essentially, he puts a lot of faith on Maddox! He finds Maddox dependable and rarely inaccurate.

8. What is this character’s favorite movie?
He would probably have a soft spot for the old film noir classics. :]

9. Does this character have a favorite article of clothing? Favorite shoes?
Dior Homme, Marc Jacobs, Prada, Giorgio Armani... you get the picture. He's up on the fashion, but actually, not very sentimental about his clothes at all.

10. Does this character have a vice? Name it.
Chain smoking; and flirting with people just because he's bored.

11. Name this character’s favorite person (living or dead).
He doesn't have one, and is waiting for the angry apocalypse to rip apart the earth and kill everybody. lol. But currently? Kyrin tickles his fancy the most.

12. What is this character’s secret wish?
That he was born another person.

13. What is this character’s proudest achievement?
I'm sure he has several that show his genius. But those are rather tepid in the grand scheme of things.

14. Describe this character’s most embarrassing moment.
His adolescence is one giant embarrassment after another. But nowadays, if he were ever shown up by someone in public,(or worse, in front of people he knew) that would definitely be it. Either by intellect or a street fight.

15. What is this character’s deepest regret?
Miles doesn't really have regrets, he just pushes forward.

16. What is this character’s greatest fear?
Getting older.

Having to kill his brother.

Miles does things on a whim, but when he finds something he wants, he can fixate for years. In the dark recesses of his mind, however, he hopes to have a family someday.

Besides being better than everyone? Work and nicotine.

Being forgotten or losing his intellect.

Jaydn is top priority, but Ky can pulls his strings as well.

Short, thin, very Russian, and aging beautifully. On the one hand, she's bitchy, neurotic, and thinks she knows everything. On the other hand, she's witty, motherly, and puts her family before herself.

25. Describe this character’s father.
Tall, lean, and also Russian, but not patriotic. He's a calm, collected, University professor. He's a very kind man, although very adamant about treating others with respect.

26. If s/he had to choose, with whom would this character prefer
to live?
Kyrin, if she behaved. :3

this have?
After his brother's death, he became the eldest. He has appointed himself the protector of his little sister (although, sassy as she is, she doesn't need it).

Much of his family is back in Russia (although Miles and his father hate visiting Russia), while his immediate family (including the family dog) is on the outskirts of Chicago. His little sister is ready to fly the coop though.

items.
His bedroom is reminiscent of an executive hotel room; Boring and bland. Cherished items include his cellphone, wallet, and laptop.

He's not.

Being needed.

They probably consist of his brother.

Very little. I'd imagine things like the unpredictable moments of enemies, and his attraction to Kyrin.

perhaps recurring nightmares. But those are rare.

On the street: Handsome, mysterious, important-looking
Everyone else knows he's trouble.

To get farther ahead.

Jaydn

Probably kill himself and get it over with.

His confidence definitely makes him stand out in a crowd.

Miles' Russian has an mild American accent that his relatives pester him about.
