I joined the guild for some of the extra benefits of being in here, like the full version of the Lucky Devil priceguide.
Maybe if you cut out the link to the whole version, then people would join, and actuallly converse in here instead of in the exchange forum.
Also I think you should go and finish up prices on some of the items in the full version, like trophies.
I know its hard to find propper information, but some people could get ripped off, like me.
I traded an OMG, a Nitemare Scarf, and a Chain Wallet for a Gold Durem fishing trophy, thinking it was worth that much.
When I went to sell it, I found out I could only get 200k for the item, and that was from another fisher that actually knew the prices. neutral

I have added the housing items, but prices fluctuate so much that I have left them all in purple (our fluctuating color).
I do not even see trophy prices in here. I don't understand this part either, though I have much sympathy regarding getting ripped off.

Like at the top of the Lite version thread, there is a link to the full version, so people wouldnt really need to join to get to the full version inside the guild. If more people joined just to get to the LD guide, full version, then there would probably be more activity inside the rest of the guild. Ah and the Fishing trophies are on page 3 or 4 of the LD guide.

What if there were contests similar to that of the arena's? Hold avvy contest, dream avvy contest, LD art contest with LD inspired art, n such.

An avi contest might be fun. We do have the random number contest and I think people are learning about that one and showing up more for it.

hi everyone, long time no see...
well anyways, i was wondering why the price guide was listed as closed as of today. As for activity, I've noticed a drastic change between this time in 2005 and the present. the subforums are a serious gamble, not like priceguide gamble, but like casino gamble. I lost a ton of money in casino, but a few people made bank. When i baught a subforum for my guild, I concluded it didnt really serve much purpose other than storage. Making multiple storage bins when you have nearly unlimited space in each is sort of redundant.
Lucky devil has to step past the potty humor and tweener motivations of chatting, and cut into the heart of exchanging. From my expeirence, many things have changed. Ranging from the nigh useless nature of fishing today to the card sharking tactics, LD has to move into the future.
we need tactics for gaining money, discussions about politics of gaias methods, and possibly prize events that look more like trophies.
I've noticed several of the newest items have a very nice trophy value even though they cant be worn. (example: the suit of armor). You could even run something like a cheesy 4 stat yahtzee style RPG using random number generators and pre generated cheesy items like Aegis Sword and Harry Pothead wands. Have an entrance fee and "bring your own equipment" then award something of similar value.
Yuo could hide different players with items on them, in gaia towns and make your own "hide & seek". Write a who's who section on Gaia billionares and multimillionares...

I think you could just make some colntests or events. Something that makes you want to be active.

I think the price guide would help, also I think designating the unnamed sub forum for some sort of use might help ie: role play, quests, contests, guides etc. (sorry if those have been tried already, kinda new here)

If you could send out a mass pm to the guild listing about the contests and prizes it should be able to bring people back. If someone has forgotten the fun they had here or whatever and they come back and do something fun it could cause them to stay.
Personally the contest idea is good. But what ever happened to the price guild part? I used to access it all the time but I can't anymore D:
