Okay, so I have noticed nearly every band's drum majors wear a different uniform then the rest of the band, or at least have different colored hats.
My dms...do not. Their uniforms are exactly the same as ours.
So, anyone else have dms who wear the same uniforms as everyone else? If not, how do your dm unfiorms differ?

Each year whoever is the DM choose a new uniform for them. because gender and size differences and theme changes.

Our DM uniform looks completely different from the regular uniforms...kinda weird I guess.

Wow, that is weird0.0 I've seen many different dm uniforms, but that one is completely oposite the band's. I wish we had different dm uniforms. maybe we can get some if our bbq fundraiser goes well(more then 25K for the band if it goes well!)

Our drum majors just wear a different baldric. Everything else is the same. But next year we're doing a Nintendo show, so the DM's get to be Mario and Luigi. blaugh

I think our new uniforms are going to be the same as the band's, except the colors are reversed. (Where it's red on the normal uniform it's black, and vice versa.)

Purple/white=band
DM=Black and white
Female DM=Black/white and a ankle length skirt

Well if you go back in history the Drum Major was more decorated than then band. The reason for this is so you can tell who is the Drum Major is and who the band members are.

our dm has reversed colors-except for the hat-thatz the same.

Our old uniforms were inverted colors for the head drum major if it was a dude (Blue top and white (I think) pants)) while the rest of the band wore white tops with blue pants. When we changed uniforms with blue tops with a silver sash and black pants, the drum major uniform was the same except the top was black. We haven't had a female drum major since we got the new uniforms so I don't know what they would wear.

the drum major uniforms are pretty much the same as the regular uniforms, except instead of blue orange and white, they're black and white. i feel sorry for the drum majors bcuz it gets rly hot during marching season&the sun scorches evryone
