Why is practically everything locked?
How are we supposed to RP if all the RP areas are locked?

Enjoy the randomness...
It's a way to get our members motivated. Each area is unlocked when certain Goals are meant. Check the Goal's sticky thread for the details.
Another reason is quite simple, with so few active members, we really only need one thread. More area's to post would mean that members are spread out even more through-out the guild.
You seem to be really interested in RolePlaying, if you'd like to, begin one in this main Forum area. When the Role Play Sub-forum is unlocked, it'll be moved there at that time.
